Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

A gentle reminder to all the faithful: this Saturday, August 15, 2026, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary takes precedence over the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Therefore, all Masses celebrated during the day, as well as all evening Masses on August 15, will use the proper liturgical texts and readings for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Let us joyfully celebrate with Mary her glorious Assumption and entrust ourselves to her loving maternal care.

Mary, Assumed into Heaven, pray for us!
