What Judas did in Matthew 26:47-49 is one of the saddest realities of being God's followers.

We follow Jesus. We love Him. We praise Him. We serve Him. We call Him our Lord.

But sometimes, kahit mahal natin si Jesus, there are moments when we still choose something else over Him.

Katulad ni Judas, sa kabila ng pagsunod sa Panginoon nagawa pa rin niyang ipagpalit si Jesus para sa 30 pieces na silver.

Before betraying Him, he even kissed Jesus as a signal that the man he will kiss is the man that they should arrest. And he even called Jesus “Guro.”

Hindi man natin ipinagpapalit si Jesus for 30 pieces of silver like Judas did, but sometimes, we trade our time, attention, and priorities for the things that this world offers.

We trade our time of prayer for scrolling.
We trade reading His Word for entertainment.
We trade quiet moments with God for things that only give temporary happiness.
We even choose what the world tells us is important instead of what God is asking us to do.

And the scary part is, sometimes we don’t even notice it.

We still go to church.
We still sing praises.
We still say, “I love Jesus.”
But little by little, our time for Him becomes less, while our time for everything else becomes more.

Maybe this is something we all need to reflect on:

“What am I trading Jesus for?”

What has been getting more of your time lately?
What has been getting more of your attention?
What do you choose when you have to choose between Jesus and something you really want?

Because sometimes, we don’t realize that we are slowly giving up something eternal for something temporary.

Judas traded Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

And sometimes, we trade Him for a few hours of entertainment, a little attention, temporary happiness, or the approval of people.

Jesus is worth more than anything this world can offer.

So today, let’s pause and check our hearts.

Are we still choosing Jesus?
Not only with our words, but with our time, priorities, and choices?

Don’t trade Jesus for something temporary. Choose Him, even when the world offers something that looks better.

𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐈𝐑 ✍️

𝘛𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦: Light in the Darkness

Naranasan mo na ba yung pakiramdam na parang wala kang direksyon sa buhay?

Dati nung hindi ko pa kilala si Lord sa aking buhay, may mga pagkakataon ako sa buhay na nalulungkot, nag-aalala, natatakot, or nawawalan ako ng pa-asa sa buhay.

Para sa akin dati yung daan sa buhay ko ay sobrang dilim, hanggang sa may isang taong nagpakilala sa akin kung sino ba talaga si Lord, kung gaano Siya ka-merciful, at kung paano Niya tayo sinasamahan sa mga landas na tatahakin natin sa buhay.

Sabi nga sa John 8:12, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Ito yung verse na palaging nagreremind sa akin na God is always here for us kahit na tayo ay makasalanan at kahit na nasa darkness na tayo ng buhay natin, basta patuloy lang tayong maniwala at manampalataya sa Kanya, hindi Niya tayo iiwan ni papabayaan man.

Na-realize ko na sobrang buti ng Lord sa aking buhay kasi kahit na sobrang makasalanan ako hinding hindi Niya ako pinapabayaan sa araw-araw kong pamumuhay sa pag-aaral, paggagawa ng desisyon at pag-iingat Niya sa mga taong mahal ko sa buhay.

Masaya ako kapag ako ay naglilingkod at sumusunod sa Kanya kasi Siya yung ilaw sa madilim kong buhay. I am so grateful kasi may Lord ako sa buhay ko at hindi jina-judge yung buong pagkatao ko.

Kaya tandaan natin mga kapatid na kapag si Lord yung maging ilaw natin, hinding-hindi na tayo matitisod at mag-iisa sa lahat ng paglalakbay natin.

At Ang huli ay mag iiwan ako ng simpleng quote para sa inyo, “You may not see the whole path, but God will always give you enough light for the next step.”

Pagpalain tayong lahat ni Lord mga kapatid!!🫶🫶

Choose God, even when it means letting go.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:30, “If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away.”

Hindi ibig sabihin nito na literal nating sasaktan ang sarili natin. Jesus was teaching us how serious we should be when it comes to the things that pull us away from Him.

Sometimes, letting go means leaving a habit.
Sometimes, it means distancing yourself from certain people.
Sometimes, it means giving up something you really want.

Masakit, pero hindi lahat ng kailangan nating bitawan ay kawalan natin. Minsan, it’s God’s way of bringing us closer to Him.

So always look for everything you have and ask yourself, “Is this helping me grow closer to God, or is this slowly pulling me away from Him?”

Choose what strengthens your faith.
Choose what gives you peace in His presence.
Choose what brings you closer.

Let go of what leads you away.

Because anything we lose for God is never a loss.

Minsan, akala natin kapag kasama natin si Lord, magiging okay na ang lahat.

Pero Jesus never promised us a life without problems.

May struggles, disappointments, failures, and moments na mapapatanong ka pa rin, “Lord, kaya ko pa ba?”

But in the middle of all these things, Jesus reminds us to take heart!

Hindi dahil madali ang buhay, kundi dahil He has already overcome the world.

Kaya kahit mahirap, keep going.

Kahit pagod, kapit lang.

You may be facing a battle, but you are not fighting alone.

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”— John 16:33

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘:

In EXODUS 14:10-16...

The Israelites were trapped between Pharaoh and the Red sea. They had every reason to panic, but God told them: 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗡

Hindi para makalimot kundi para umusad patungo sa lugar na inihanda ng Diyos para sa kanila.

The same things applies to us, sa bawat pagsubok, crisis at problema na kinakaharap natin. Kabilaan man 'yan, if you have faith in Him, He will make a way. Crisis is not made for us to be stuck. It is for us to pause and listen to God's instructions and choose to obey than to complain.

If Jesus is the foundation of your life, hindi ibig sabihin na wala ka nang pagdadaanan but one thing is for sure, you won’t be easily shaken.

Kapag si Jesus ang nasa center ng buhay mo, matututo kang magtiwala kahit hindi mo alam kung ano ang mangyayari. Sa gitna ng storms, struggles, at uncertainties, alam mo kung saan ka tatayo at nakatayo.

Minsan, habang binabasa natin ang salita ng Panginoon, may mga verses na parang simpleng paalala lang.

Pero kapag binasa natin ulit at pinag-isipan, mapapaisip ka rin talaga sa sarili mong buhay.

Habang binabasa ko ang Matthew 7:24–27, narealize ko na hindi pala enough na naririnig natin ang salita ng Diyos. Hindi rin sapat na alam natin ang Bible verses, nakaka-attend tayo sa church, or marunong tayong magsabi ng “God is good.”

The real question is, is His Word actually changing the way we live?

Kasi madaling sabihin na nagtitiwala tayo kay Lord kapag okay ang lahat.

Madaling sabihin na God is our foundation kapag walang problema, walang disappointment, at nasusunod ang mga plano natin.

Pero darating talaga yung mga panahon na parang bagyo ang buhay.

May prayers na hindi agad nasasagot.
May plans na hindi natutupad.
May failures na hindi natin inaasahan.
May mga taong aalis.
May seasons na mapapagod ka at mapapatanong ka kung tama pa ba yung ginagawa mo.

And maybe those moments reveal something in us.

Saan ba talaga nakatayo ang buhay ko?

Minsan kasi akala natin matatag tayo dahil matagal na tayong Christian. Pero hindi pala nasusukat ang foundation sa kung gaano katagal nating naririnig ang Word of God.

It is revealed by how we respond when life becomes difficult.

The wise man also experienced the rain, the floods, and the strong winds. Hindi siya exempted sa bagyo. The difference was the foundation.

And that made me realize na maybe God isn't promising us a life without storms. Instead, He is teaching us to build a life that can remain standing when the storms come.

Kaya habang bata pa tayo, habang may dreams pa tayo, habang binubuo pa natin ang future natin, let's make sure na hindi lang career, relationship, money, achievements, or our own plans ang foundation ng buhay natin.

Let God's Word be the foundation.

Hindi lang natin ito basahin kapag kailangan natin ng comfort.
Hindi lang natin hanapin kapag may problema.

But let His Word guide our decisions, correct our hearts, shape our character, and teach us how to live.

Because one day, the storms will come.

And when they do, I hope we can say:

“Lord, hindi man ako perfect, pero pinili kong itayo ang buhay ko sa Iyo.”

A strong life doesn't begin with having everything figured out. It begins with having the right foundation.

𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐈𝐑 ✍️

𝘛𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦: GLORY TO GOD!

Nung wala pa si God sa buhay ko, sobrang hirap dahil ’yung mga bagay na nagagawa ko pala noon ay hindi kalugod-lugod sa ating Panginoon. Pero nung nakilala ko ang Panginoon at nagpatuloy ang pagse-serve ko sa Kanya, doon ko lang na-realize ang lahat ng mali ko. Doon ko rin naisip na totoong hindi tayo iiwan ng ating Panginoon, kahit gaano pa tayo kakasalanan.

And thankful din ako sa mga ate ko na nag-invite sa akin para mag-serve sa ating Panginoon. And now, here I am, 6 years nang naglilingkod sa Kanya. Marami mang humahadlang, pero ramdam ko ang power ng ating Panginoon, at masasabi kong walang katulad ang Panginoon.

And masasabi ko rin na sa 6 years kong paglilingkod sa ating Panginoon, hindi ko maiwasang hindi maka-attend sa mga gawain Niya. And kahit ganoon, never kong kinalimutan ang ating Panginoon sa bawat gagawin ko.

Isaiah 41:13 says, "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Isa ito sa mga pinanghahawakan ko tuwing nahihirapan ako sa mga pagsubok na kinakaharap ko. Bilang isang student, sobrang daming pagsubok ang dumarating sa akin, but lagi kong iniisip na kasama ko ang ating Panginoon at hindi Niya ako pababayaan.

Sobrang thankful ko kay God kasi sa lahat ng laban, kailanman ay hindi Niya ako iniwan. Sa kabila ng mga kasalanan ko, mayroon pa rin akong God sa buhay ko na handang samahan ako sa lahat ng bagay.

Sa bawat failure na nangyayari sa akin, lagi kong iniisip na, “Baka hindi para sa akin ’to, at baka may mas magandang plano ang Panginoon para sa akin.”

Lagi lang tayong magtiwala sa ating Panginoon dahil ang Panginoon ay kailanman hindi tayo bibiguin.

Sa bawat hakbang, ang Panginoon ang siyang umaalalay patungo sa tunay na daan.

“GOD NEVER FAILS US.”

Magtiwala lang tayo sa Panginoon, at hindi Niya tayo bibiguin.
