13 Nawa'y sumainyong lahat ang kagandahang-loob ng Panginoong Jesu-Cristo, at ang pag-ibig ng Diyos, at ang pakikisama ng Espiritu Santo.

Ang pakikisama ng Espiritu Santo ay paalala na hindi tayo nag-iisa. Siya ang ating gabay, tagapag-aliw, at nagbibigay ng lakas sa bawat araw. Sa ating mga desisyon at pagsubok, matuto tayong makinig sa Kanyang pangunguna at magtiwala sa Kanyang gabay.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”

1 Corinthians 2:4–5 reminds us that fulfilling God’s mission is not dependent on our own wisdom, ability, or strength. When we rely on the Holy Spirit, God’s power works through us so that others may place their faith in Him.

Let us surrender our abilities to God and trust the power of the Holy Spirit as we share the Gospel and serve others.

PRAYER:

Lord, help us rely not on our own strength, but on the power of Your Holy Spirit. Use us to share the Gospel and glorify Your name. Amen.

We were reminded that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live boldly for Christ, serve His mission, and faithfully fulfill the calling God has entrusted to us.

May we continue to depend on His power, follow His leading, and use what He has given us to glorify Christ and advance His mission.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

1 Corinthians 12:6–7 reminds us that God’s power is at work through the Holy Spirit as we receive and use our spiritual gifts to serve others.

Let us use the spiritual gifts God has given us for the common good and in service to our community. Through these gifts, may we point others to God and reveal that the power belongs to Him alone.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit who empowers us to fulfill Your mission. Teach us to draw strength from the Holy Spirit and faithfully live out Your mission each day. May the gifts You have given us be used to serve others and glorify Your name. Amen.

“And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””

The Holy Spirit empowers us to live boldly for Christ, serve His mission, and continue the work He has entrusted to us. Salvation gives us new life, but the baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers us to witness, serve, and move forward in God's calling.

There are moments when we are eager to serve God, but we try to do it in our own strength and timing. Jesus told His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father because they could not fulfill the mission through their own ability. We also need to learn to wait, depend on God's timing, and receive the power that comes from the Holy Spirit.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is not for recognition or personal superiority. It is God's empowerment for His mission. We are empowered to boldly share the Gospel, remain faithful through trials, serve through the gifts He has given, and glorify Christ through our lives and ministries. The power of the Holy Spirit is given not for ourselves, but so that we can be used by God.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is also more than an experience. It begins a lifelong walk of dependence, obedience, and mission. As we receive His power, we must also allow His character to shape us through love, kindness, faithfulness, self-control, and obedience. The Holy Spirit empowers us not only for public ministry, but also for daily obedience and faithful discipleship.

Let us continue seeking His presence, surrendering our lives to His leading, and using everything God has given us to glorify Christ and fulfill His mission.
