As we journey through Lent and reflect on the Passion of Christ, we remember the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the moment Mary said yes and salvation began. In this season of sacrifice, you are invited to reflect on that quiet yes, given without full understanding, yet full of trust. It opened the path that leads to Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation. Your response matters. Choose to say yes to God even when it is difficult.

Youth Ministry of San Ramon Nonato participates the 17th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross on March 7, 2026, at Kawa-Kawa Hill Natural Park in Tuburan, Ligao City.

It gives the youth groups in the entire diocese the chance to be together and reflect on the passion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Today we celebrate the Second Sunday of Lent. In the Gospel, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain, where He is transfigured before them. His face shines like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Then Moses and Elijah appear, conversing with Him, revealing a glimpse of His divine glory.

As Christ revealed His glory to His disciples, may we also open our hearts to His transforming grace. In this sacred season of prayer, fasting, and sacrifice, may we listen attentively to His voice and faithfully follow where He leads.

Today as 𝑨𝒔𝒉 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚 comes, we are reminded that life on earth is temporary, and we are called to return to God with humble hearts. The ashes on our forehead are a sign of repentance and our dependence on God’s grace. This season invites us to embrace prayer, conversion, and a deeper relationship with Christ, living Lent as a journey of faith, sacrifice, and renewal.
