Five Chapels, One Call, Standing Tall: A Listening Church for One and All

The AoC 2034 Parish Formation and Mission Team reached five chapels on August 22, 2026. The theme was "A Listening Church: Hearing God's Voice and the Cries of His People." Speakers were formators who attended the Formators Training. They were formed into different teams to serve each chapel schedule.

The seminar was attended by the BEC and the communities of these chapels:
Cambanog Chapel at 1:00 PM
Bunker Chapel at 2:00 PM
Mananggal Chapel at 2:00 PM
Poo-Balud Chapel at 7:00 PM
Guiwanon Chapel at 7:00 PM

It was a day of shared listening and prayer, as each community opened its heart to God and to one another.

ESTORYA TA BAI: DISTRICT YOUTH CAMP 2026 | AWARDING & CLOSING PROGRAM

After days filled with faith, fellowship, learning, and unforgettable memories, the District Youth Camp 2026 came to a meaningful close with the awarding of certificates to all participants. Special prizes were also given to those who took part in Mr. & Ms. DYC ’26, celebrating their enthusiasm, confidence, and active participation throughout the event.

The closing remarks were then delivered by Kuya Argie Dayame, who shared words of gratitude and encouragement as the young leaders prepared to return to their respective parishes—bringing with them the lessons, friendships, and renewed spiritual fire from the camp.

It was a beautiful ending to a meaningful journey, reminding everyone that the true spirit of faith, service, and fellowship continues far beyond the camp. 💙✨

At Dawn We Gathered, With Faith We Part: Closing Mass of District Youth Camp 2026

Earlier today, August 22, 2026, the District Youth Camp 2026 concluded with a beautiful closing Mass at San Guillermo de Aquitania Parish Church. Rev. Fr. Julrie Camay officiated the celebration at 5:30 in the morning. Participants, working committee members, and district officers gathered as one community to thank God for the blessings of the camp and the lasting friendships built along the way. It was a simple, prayerful, and fitting way to close this joyful gathering of young leaders.

TO SERVE IS TO SHOW UP, TO LEAD IS TO LISTEN: TALK 2 AT THE DISTRICT YOUTH CAMP 2026

As Day 1 continued, the Parish Youth Leaders joined a meaningful talk with Mr. Tito Linao (Kuya Tito), Cebu Diocesan Youth Coordinating Council Coordinator. He shared the importance of constantly showing up in serving God and taking part in the mission of the Church.

The session reminded the Parish Youth Leaders that the Church needs their voice, energy, and faith. As young people, they are called to walk together, listen deeply, and respond with love, recognizing that a listening Church thrives when love guides both speaking and listening.

A heartfelt thank you to Kuya Tito for sharing his valuable insights and inspiring the youth of District 3 to continue serving with love!
