DAGUPAN 3RD WARD,

For all the new members of the ward, welcome! I’m Sister Manaois, currently serving in Herriman Blackridge Stake under the Salt Lake City South Mission. Hopefully, Dagupan 3rd has not forgotten me yet. How are y’all doing? I hope you’re all doing well, and I heard that the ward has been progressing well and growing much more, which is such a blessing!

Urdaneta Temple has been dedicated! Hopefully, most of you had a chance to go to the open house. I was so sad that I wasn't able to attend and see it in person, but I’m so happy with all your efforts in serving the Lord in any way you can! The Philippines has a great name in the place I’m serving. Everyone here was so excited for the Urdaneta Temple, and they want to tell you all, Congratulations! Temples are such a great place to be, so I want to invite you all to prepare yourselves and go and make covenants with the Lord in His holy house. I can go to the Oquirrh Temple here in Utah once every six weeks, and I can truly testify that it is the house of the Lord here on earth. A very sacred place to be where you can feel the love of Heavenly Father for all of His children. It brings me so much joy and peace whenever I’m in the temple. If you want to be still and be away from all the chaos of the world, GO TO the temples. As you do everything to prepare yourself to become worthy to enter the house of the Lord, you’ll see all the tender mercies He has been giving you all this time.

I miss Dagupan so much, and I’m glad that the ward is doing well. I’ll be forever grateful to our ward for helping me come this far. The community that the ward has built has been etched in my very being as a full-time missionary here in Utah. Thank you for all the wonderful teachings I have received from the leaders! I miss you all so much! Especially the young women.

Ate Angel is so proud of all the youth that we have. For their efforts and love for everyone! I’m always reading all your emails, even though I won't instantly reply most of the time. I want you all to remember that you all have that divine potential that Heavenly Father has given you. He is very mindful of each and every one of you. I miss being at the YSA and Young Womens T^T.

Thank you to all of our WARD MISSIONARIES for serving! I truly appreciate all that you do for Dagupan 3rd Ward. ELDERS and SISTERS know that the Lord sees your efforts and will bless you for them.

To end this letter, I want to share my simple testimony with all of you. I know the Lord knows each and every single one of you. He knows you by name. He’s mindful of you, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. I genuinely can’t express how much the Savior helps all of us. He lifts us, heals us, sustains us, and honestly makes living life even possible (at least in my own experience). I can tell all of you at any time that I wouldn’t be who or where I am without my Savior, Jesus Christ. God is real. Christ is real. They live and love us all! They have a plan for each of us, and that is the “PLAN OF SALVATION” or PLAN OF HAPPINESS,” because that is their intent for all of us. To give YOU the most happiness and joy possible in this life and salvation in the life to come. All God wants is for us to be happy and live with Him again.

Today, May 11, 2024, leaders from the Bishopric and Elders Quorum Presidency led a productive activity to help strengthen the bonds between the brethren in unity. Along with new members and friends of the church who were invited, it increases connections and fellowship among the Quorum members. Brother David Arrieta serves as the trainer on how to clean and troubleshoot air conditioning units as additional skills for the brethren.

The participants also enjoyed and appreciated the experience of harvesting fresh vegetables from the backyard garden of President George and Sister Julie Bautista. Everyone joined in preparing delicious meals to celebrate this memorable occasion, including Elder Nield and Elder Orsal, missionaries from the Urdaneta Philippines Mission.

These activities are part of the Ward's intent to strengthen and help everyone feel the love of God through ministering and fellowshipping with one another, as the Savior Jesus Christ commanded us to do so to "love one another."

Hello my dearest friends, family and others!

How are you all doing? Are you guys doing well? Sana all hahaha kidding aside, I will not write a long email now kasi we are so busy. I just want to share with you that we are doing fine here!! I am so glad that I am with someone who is amazing. With the help of the Lord, we exceeded our goals for last week! We also had our zone conference and we had a blast! There are so many things I've learned and tried to apply. The revelations are very very very inspirational. I am so happy to have so many amazing things that is happening to me here 😍

We also witnessed another baptism!!!! She is Sister Evangeline. Her daughter is a member and a good leader and support to her decisions. She is very kind and smart. My heart is full of joy and I am so happy for her. I've got a lot of miracles happening here.

My companion, Sister Javier, is a very very very very beautiful and smart missionary. I just said that because she told me🤣jk. She is very diligent and hardworking. Her future husband will be so lucky to have her. She just have a little frustration about something but she always laughs at it. She is my saving grace. I am learning a lot from her. She is very talkative that is why we always exceed our new people being taught.

Lastly, I am so glad for this privilege that I am serving my mission here in Philippines Quezon City Mission. Looking forward for many miracles along the way. See you when I see you and have a great start of the week! Mahal ko po kayo!❤️‍🔥

Hello Dagupan 3rd!

Kumusta po kayo? Ako buhay pa hehe. I am very grateful po sa prayers and love na pinakita niyo sa akin since preparing palang po ako. No other words can explain how much I am grateful na nandito na ako sa field. I am learning so much po and I have seen my potentials in many aspects. I can't mention everyone para pasalamatan po kayo isa-isa sa support and love ninyo. I am grateful din po for my family who pushed me na magmission and to my friends, you know who you are, thank you for your encouragement and sa pag-share ng mga experiences niyo before ako magpunta dito. I've learned a lot.

Nagbigay po ako ng letter sainyo to encourage you all to help the missionaries in their work. Sobrang laking bagay po na magjoin po ang bawat isa sa atin to Love, Share and Invite. Simple things are big acts to the eyes of the Lord. Kahit sa mga kaibigan and kapit-bahay natin, we can share the light. Gusto ko rin po mag-share ng scripture verse sainyo na mahahanap sa Matthew 5:16, sabi po dito:

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

I know Brothers and Sisters that this light can shine to others. I know that we can be the light. This is not a Man's work, this is the Lord's work. And everyone is a big part in hastening His work. I know and I testify that if we do our part, we will be blessed. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true Church. I know that the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I truly know that the blessings will be greater than what we expected if we do our part. I know that this is the Last Dispensation. I truly testify how I've seen the Lord's hand in this work. He will help you and guide you.

Today, the Dagupan 3rd Ward members successfully accomplished the special project titled "Decluttering" this morning, Saturday, February 17, 2024, held at the Arellano Chapel. It was a shared effort from the ward council leaders, organized by Sister Cherry Trono, Brother George Bautista, and other volunteers. About 30 individuals attended the activity, including Sister Evans and Sister Gasmeña, assigned ward missionaries. The intention of this project is for members to share their extra used or unused clothing and other items with other members, especially the children. Primary President, Sister Rizzamere Daoana, was invited as one of the speakers who shared the moral values of being generous and considerate in sharing and caring for others. She also thanked the parents of the primary children, who were valiant in magnifying their callings at home, school, and in the church. Lastly, at his closing remarks, Brother George Bautista encouraged the members to continue to practice this principle—to serve and impart our blessings to others. He also testified of the sureness of returned blessings when we cared for others. Overall, the short event was successful and greatly appreciated by the members who attended. They were filled with the spirit of unity and love from the leaders they've sustained. This kind of activity reminds us of and promotes being unselfish towards our fellows as latter-day saints.

Yesterday, one of the Sister Training Leaders (STL) of the Urdaneta Philippines Mission, Sister Purcell, had the opportunity to visit and teach the new members and investigators of Dagupan 3rd Ward. As part of their ongoing missionary exchange, Sister Purcell came to be Sister Evans temporary companion on behalf of Sister Gasmenia. She witnessed the faith and gratitude of our new members, Brother Reynaldo Ubando, the family of Brother Cesar Paras, the family of Brother Danilo Reyes, and other invistigators. Helping the two missionaries at their scheduled appointments was Sister Angelica Eiren Manaois, who just so happens to be on her mission too at the end of this month.

Hello Dagupan Third Ward kamusta kamo? Namingao na ako sainyoha. Namingao ako sa mga Activities diha sa ward. Kamusta ang ward natin may mga Bagong member na ba? Lipaya ko kaayo kay ang mga ysa nato diraa sa sa ward ay naa silang desire to serve god. Namingao pud ko sa mga kauban nako sa missionary work noong akoa pa ang WML sina nanay Clores Sister teresa ana. Sana safe sila gihapon. Naay time na usahay mag work ko sa missionary sa ilaha pud ko mi mangaon. Namingao pud ko sa tanan na nag inspire sa akoa magmission ( EQ, RS, YSA, BISHOPRIC)

Ganahan ko magshare nang akong experience dire sa mission para ang uban na youth ug YSA ay naa pud silang desire na magtabang sa ginoo. Ako dire sa mission 5 months na dire pero daghan ko na tunan dire kong paunsa magluto ug paunsa mag plants ug tanan na buhaton didto sa balay. Dire sa Appartment unom mi kabuok mi lipaya ko kaayo kay naa kong ka kwentuhan ug sila ang magtabang sa imoa. Dire sa among area is nindot kaayo sya kay daghan ang member dire Buotan kaayo sila sa amoa adlaw adlaw naay member na magpakaon sa amoa dire daghan lechon ( lami kayo no Hehe) dire sa teaching okie ra kaay nagstudy mi adlaw adlaw scripture, Pmg ug tanan na missionary na book para mahibalaan namo paunsa matabangan ang mga investigator namo. I invite ko tanan na youth ug ysa mag study ug. Scriptures, Pmg kay makatabang sya tinoud kay daghan na panalangin ang madawat sa ginoo. Ang mission ay lisud dili lang lisud lisud kaayo kaya mag prepare kayo ng maayos para maging andam sa mission. Isa pud sa pagandam ay kinahanglan nyo mag pasok sa seminary ug institute kay makatabang ang kanang program sa inyong pagandam sa mission. Daghan salamat kay sister yollu ug kay President karganilla.

Nagpapamatoud kona pagbuhaton nato ang mga kini na mag sulod sa mga program sa church is magiging prepared ta sa pagtabang sa ginoo ug nagpapamatuod kona kini ang trabaho ng diyos giingon dire na " This is a serious bussines" nagpapamatoud kona ang propheta na si Russel M nelson ay gitawag sya ng ginoo para mag giya sa atoa sa santos sa mga huling mga adlaw. Nagpapamatuod kona ang leaders gitawag pud ng ginoo para magtabang sa atoa. Sa tanan na leaders diraa sa ward i SUSTAINED eah everyone of you. Nagapamatuod kona si Joseph smith pinaagi sa iyaha na ipapahiuli ang tinuod na simbahan sa kalibutan sya ang propheta ng pagpahiuli. Kining tanan ibilin ko sa pangalan ni Jesukristo Amen.
