Patmos

Patmos The official page of the Ministry of Altar Servers of ALD-SJECP, Dagupan City. Welcome to Saint John The Evangelist Altar Servers' Home.

WELCOME TO PATMOS. PATMOS was the solitude of our Patron Saint, St John. Hence it is only fitting that it lends its name to the sanctuary of willing servers for God. May it be a home to those who are discerning their calls, seeking wisdom to answer or simply be a home to those seeking for God and wish to serve Him. PATMOS is the place where spiritual formation and brotherly formation go hand in ha

nd to give our young minds the chance to meet and understand the will of God and how important He is in their lives. Come be with us as we stay in our solitude, our refuge and our home. Welcome to PATMOS.

January 18 | Feast Day of Santo NiΓ±o

On this joyful feast, we honor the Santo NiΓ±o, the Holy Child Jesus, who reminds us of God’s great love made visible through humility and innocence. His childlike presence calls us to trust in God with simple and faithful hearts. May the Santo NiΓ±o continue to bless our families, strengthen our faith, and fill our lives with hope and joy.

January 11 | Feast Day of Baptism of the Lord

On this feast, we remember the moment Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, revealing His mission and the Father’s great love for Him. This event reminds us of our own baptism, where we became children of God and were called to live in faith. May we continue to walk in the light of Christ and renew our commitment to follow Him each day.

January 1 | Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God

This solemnity is the most ancient liturgical observance of Mary in the Church’s calendar. It honors Mary as β€œTheotokos” or β€œMother of God,” the title accorded her at the Council of Ephesus in 431. Mary is not just the Mother of Jesus: she is the Mother of God, because Jesus is both God and man, divine and human.

The past year has been a journey marked by service, sacrifice, and grace. As altar servers of St. John the Evangelist Cathedral Parish, we encountered trials that tested our faith, commitment, and unity. Yet through every challenge, the Lord remained our strength, guiding us to grow not only as ministers at the altar, but as brothers bound by faith and love for Christ.

As we close this chapter with gratitude and hope, we proudly declare:

𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀 π‘πˆπ 𝐒𝐀 πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ”!

May God continue to bless our ministry, strengthen our calling, and lead us as we serve Him faithfully in the year ahead.

Happy New Year to all!

December 28, 2025 | Feast of The Holy Family

Today we honor Jesus, Mary, and Josephβ€”the model of every Christian family. Their life teaches us obedience, faith, and humble love. When God is at the center, family life becomes holy and meaningful.

May our families grow in prayer, love, and unity, following the example of the Holy Family.

Today, December 27, the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist, the Beloved Disciple. Known for his closeness to Jesus, Saint John teaches us that true faith is rooted in love, trust, and remaining close to Christ. May his life inspire the youth to listen to God’s heart and boldly live out the Gospel in their daily lives.
