On this sacred night of Black Saturday, we gather in silence and reflection, remembering the moment when the world seemed to stand stillโwhen Jesus Christ, our Savior, was laid in the tomb after enduring unimaginable suffering on the cross. It is a day wrapped in sorrow, yet filled with quiet hope, for even in the darkness, Godโs promise of salvation was already unfolding.
As we commemorate His sacrifice, we are reminded of a love so profoundโa love that chose suffering so that we may be forgiven, a love that embraced the cross to bring light into our lives. Through our Live Stations of the Cross lead by San Pascual Baylon Parish - Commission on Youth , we journey with Him step by step, witnessing His pain, His mercy, and His unwavering love for humanity.
We do not only mournwe also prepare our hearts for the joy that is to come. For beyond the tomb lies the promise of resurrection, a reminder that no darkness is ever greater than His light.
โBy His wounds we are healed.โ โ Isaiah 53:5
May this solemn day deepen our faith, renew our hearts, and draw us closer to the love of Christ, who gave everything for us.
