The Best Life Which is Pleasing God🙌
📖 2 Corinthians 5:8–10

Everyone will one day stand before Christ and be judged according to what we have done while living in this world.
Therefore, while we are here, we should live a life that pleases God.

After believing in Jesus Christ, we are called to take the narrow road…denying ourselves, following Christ, and keeping our focus on eternal life.

1. We should become persons whom God is pleased with.
God created us in His image, but sin distorted that image. Through Christ, God is restoring us to become more like Him to reflect the character of Jesus in our lives.

2. We should do things that please God.
As Colossians 1:10 reminds us, our lives should be lived in a way that pleases the Lord.

🔹 Worship God— Romans 12:1
Our whole life should be an offering of worship to God.

🔹Preach the Gospel— Galatians 1:10
Rather than living to please people, we should seek to please God and share the Gospel with others.

The best life is not the life that pleases ourselves, but the life that pleases God.❤️

Those Who Easily Lose the Opportunity
Bible Verse: Luke 17:26–35📖

Evangelism is not easy. Many people say, "I will believe in Jesus later. They do not realize how urgent salvation is. The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6:2, "Now is the day of salvation." Salvation is not something we should postpone until tomorrow. We must respond to God's invitation today.✝️

In Luke 17:26–35, Jesus gives two historical examples of people who missed their opportunity to be saved:

1. Noah and the Flood
2. The Destruction of S***m and Gomorrah

The people in Noah's time continued eating, drinking, marrying, and living their normal lives. The people of S***m were busy buying, selling, planting, and building. They were so focused on the things of this world that they ignored God's warning. When judgment came, it was too late. They lost the opportunity that God had given them.

Jesus warns us that His return will also come suddenly. Those who are prepared will be saved, but those who are not ready will be left behind.

Why has God not judged the world yet? Romans 2:4 tells us that God's kindness, patience, and forbearance are meant to lead us to repentance. God patiently waits because He desires people to turn back to Him before it is too late.

As believers, we are called to share this message with others. Evangelism can be difficult, and sometimes we feel afraid or inadequate. If we depend on our own strength, we may never open our mouths. But we are not called to rely on ourselves.

We must trust in:

* The power of Jesus' name.
* The power of the Holy Spirit.
* The power of the cross.

When we evangelize in the power of the Holy Spirit, God Himself works in the hearts of people.

Let us believe in the power of the Gospel.📖✨️

Sermon Title: I Am the Good Shepherd
📖 John 10:7–15

Today, we were reminded of the comforting truth that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who perfectly knows, leads, saves, and cares for us, His sheep. 🐑

Just as a shepherd lovingly watches over his flock, the sheep recognize and follow the shepherd's voice because they know they are safe in his care. In the same way, Christ calls His people to listen to His voice and follow Him with faith and obedience.

1. Jesus is the Shepherd who leads His sheep.
His sheep recognize His voice, trust Him, and faithfully follow where He leads. When we listen to Christ and walk in obedience, He leads us in the paths of righteousness and into the abundant life He has promised.

2. Jesus is the Shepherd who saves His sheep.
Salvation is not accomplished by human effort but by the power and grace of God alone. Christ came to rescue us from the penalty of sin of the past, present, and future so that all who enter through Him may be saved.

3. Jesus is the Shepherd who gives His life for His sheep.
The greatest demonstration of His love was His willingness to lay down His life on the cross. His sacrifice is sufficient for our salvation, offering eternal life to all who believe in Him.

May we continue to recognize the voice of our Good Shepherd, trust His leading, and rest in His unfailing love.✨️
