Difficult seasons will come, and the journey of serving God will not always be easy. There will be trials that test our strength and distractions that can pull our hearts away from the calling God has given us.

Endurance means remaining faithful when the journey becomes difficult. Paul did not simply begin well. He continued faithfully through every season and finished well. Difficulties may slow us down, but they should never cause us to lose sight of God’s calling or give up on the work He has entrusted to us.

Philippians 3 reminds us of Paul’s determination to keep moving forward. He had one thing in mind. His eyes were fixed on the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

As Christians, we are called to press on with purpose. We cannot allow our past, struggles, failures, or distractions to keep us from moving forward. There is a goal ahead, and our eyes must remain fixed on Christ.

Press on. Keep pursuing Christ. Keep growing. Keep serving. Keep your eyes on the prize.

"A praying church is a powerful church, not because of its strength, but because it depends on the power of God."

Last night was a beautiful reminder of what happens when God’s people come together in prayer. When His people pray, hearts are strengthened, faith is renewed, and God is glorified.

Today, we lift up every ministry, every faithful minister, and every missionary serving the Lord. We pray that God would strengthen their hearts, grant them wisdom, and empower them through the Holy Spirit as they faithfully proclaim the Gospel and serve His people. May every ministry bear lasting fruit, bringing lives to Christ and building up His church.

As they labor in different places and circumstances, let us ask the Lord to protect them, provide for their needs, and keep them steadfast in their calling. May He continue to raise up faithful servants who will boldly declare His Word until every nation hears the good news of Jesus Christ.

Today, we lift up our government and those whom God has entrusted with leadership. Scripture calls us to pray for those in authority, asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, discernment, and hearts that desire what is right. May every decision they make be guided by truth and justice, and may God's will be accomplished in our nation.

No matter the challenges our country may face, God remains sovereign over every ruler and every authority. Let us faithfully pray that our leaders would govern with integrity and that our nation would experience His peace and righteousness.

As we begin these days of intentional prayer, today marks Day 1.

We begin by lifting up our families. In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, may our homes remain anchored in Christ. Pray for hearts that forgive, relationships that grow stronger, and every family member to know and follow the Lord.

No matter what your family looks like today, God can restore, strengthen, and lead every home that is surrendered to Him.

There will be moments of weakness and seasons of weariness. Yet God does not call us to perfection before He calls us faithful. He calls us to keep pressing on and to continue following Him despite our failures.

Philippians 3:12-16 reminds us that even Paul admitted he had not yet attained perfection, but he chose to keep pursuing Christ. That is what faithfulness looks like: not giving up, not looking back, but moving forward with our eyes fixed on Jesus.

A new month is another reminder that our journey of faith was never meant to be walked alone. God calls us to encourage one another and carry each other's burdens to keep moving forward with our eyes fixed on Christ.

This August, we begin our month-long theme, "Pressing On Together." No matter what victories we celebrate or struggles we face, we choose to move forward as one church family. We may not all walk at the same pace, but we are headed toward the same Savior.
