Not the end โ a beginning! On August 26, 2026, our church gathered for the Final Charge of our ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ต ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต under the theme "๐๐ฃ๐ฆ: ๐๐ผ๐ฑ'๐ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป," closing a month-long journey from the Courtyard to the Holy Place, and finally to the Most Holy Place.
The evening opened with the theme song "My High Priest" and a prayer led by Bro. Mark Andrei Villamor, followed by a Singtimony portion โ songs paired with testimonies of surrender, God's faithfulness, and grace. Selene & Blessy, Jheliane, Yessha & Samantha, Jolienne, and Michael led out in song, who shared "Were It Not for Grace." Between the songs, testimonies of God's faithfulness were shared by ๐ฆ๐ถ๐.
The commitment message, "๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐: ๐๐ผ๐ฑ'๐ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป," was delivered by ๐ฃ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ปฬ๐ผ, who walked the congregation through the three stages of salvation pictured in the sanctuary: the Courtyard (Justification โ "Christ died for me"), the Holy Place (Sanctification โ "Christ lives and works in me"), and the Most Holy Place (Glorification โ "Christ prepares me for His coming and final restoration"). He reminded everyone that true Christian living does not stop at forgiveness but moves forward into transformation โ saved by grace, and transformed by grace.
Following the message, members responded through candle lighting โ each flame a personal commitment to let Christ's light shine โ before placing their candles at the cross as a symbol of surrender. Ptr. Ricardo then led the congregation in a dedicatory prayer, followed by a short united prayer as one church, one family, and one generation seeking God.
As our 11th Youth Month comes to a close, may the commitment made tonight not end with the music or the candles โ but continue in our homes, our schools, and our daily walk with Christ, our High Priest, until He comes.
