Not the end โ€” a beginning! On August 26, 2026, our church gathered for the Final Charge of our ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต under the theme "๐—š๐—ฃ๐—ฆ: ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ'๐˜€ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป," closing a month-long journey from the Courtyard to the Holy Place, and finally to the Most Holy Place.

The evening opened with the theme song "My High Priest" and a prayer led by Bro. Mark Andrei Villamor, followed by a Singtimony portion โ€” songs paired with testimonies of surrender, God's faithfulness, and grace. Selene & Blessy, Jheliane, Yessha & Samantha, Jolienne, and Michael led out in song, who shared "Were It Not for Grace." Between the songs, testimonies of God's faithfulness were shared by ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐˜€.

The commitment message, "๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†: ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ'๐˜€ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป," was delivered by ๐—ฃ๐˜๐—ฟ. ๐—•๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ปฬƒ๐—ผ, who walked the congregation through the three stages of salvation pictured in the sanctuary: the Courtyard (Justification โ€” "Christ died for me"), the Holy Place (Sanctification โ€” "Christ lives and works in me"), and the Most Holy Place (Glorification โ€” "Christ prepares me for His coming and final restoration"). He reminded everyone that true Christian living does not stop at forgiveness but moves forward into transformation โ€” saved by grace, and transformed by grace.

Following the message, members responded through candle lighting โ€” each flame a personal commitment to let Christ's light shine โ€” before placing their candles at the cross as a symbol of surrender. Ptr. Ricardo then led the congregation in a dedicatory prayer, followed by a short united prayer as one church, one family, and one generation seeking God.

As our 11th Youth Month comes to a close, may the commitment made tonight not end with the music or the candles โ€” but continue in our homes, our schools, and our daily walk with Christ, our High Priest, until He comes.

Let your light shine! In continuing the 4th Sabbath, the afternoon program opened with a message from ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐˜€. ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ on the ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ต, the golden lampstand of the sanctuary. She reminded us that God's people are the lampstand, the Holy Spirit is the oil that keeps the flame burning, and that this relationship โ€” like the priest continually supplying oil โ€” is not a one-time experience but a daily filling. Just as olive oil must be crushed to give its light, our own crushing does not have to destroy us; it can bring us closer to God. And a light like this, she reminded us, cannot stay hidden โ€” it is meant to be seen, pointing others to Christ, the Living Bread.

The program continued with an activity led by ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐˜€. ๐—๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ, as our GPS: God's Plan of Salvation journey moved into the Most Holy Place โ€” the innermost room where God's presence dwells and where the story of sin finally finds its answer in Christ. Two teams worked through a Sanctuary Crossword Puzzle, tracing the Ark, the mercy seat, the Day of Atonement, and Christ our High Priest back to Scripture, learning that nothing in the sanctuary is guesswork โ€” every symbol has its root in the Word, and every symbol points to Jesus.

The teams then brought their discoveries to life through Sanctuary Skits. One scene captured the honest curiosity of children wondering what lay behind the veil โ€” a hunger to know God for ourselves, not fear that keeps us away. Another, "I Messed Up," showed a struggling friend met not with judgment but with friends who stayed and pointed him back to God โ€” a picture of Jesus our High Priest, who does not condemn but represents us before the Father.

These moments carried into a time of reflection, inviting everyone to approach God with the same open curiosity as a child, and to be that kind of friend for one another โ€” pointing each other back to Jesus instead of letting shame keep anyone away. The afternoon closed with a united prayer for the church, and specifically for Ptr. Nelson Mentok and Sis. Abmyr Rose Rafallo, through Adoration, Confession, Supplication, and Thanksgiving โ€” praying with the same posture the Most Holy Place teaches: reverence, honesty, dependence, and gratitude, all made possible through Christ.

A reminder that everything in the sanctuary was always pointing to Jesus โ€” and that we, too, are called to carry His light: burning not by our own strength, but kept alive by His Spirit.

Ptr. Nelson took the congregation back to the humble beginnings of the church โ€” not a great temple or powerful city, but a small group of ordinary believers held together by shared faith and the conviction that what they had found was too good to keep to themselves. From there, the message moved into the sanctuary and the Day of Atonement described in Leviticus 16, where two goats were presented: one bearing the sins of Israel to the wilderness, a picture of how completely God deals with sin so He can bring His people home and dwell with them.

The message closed with an invitation: just as the high priest made atonement so the people could be clean before the Lord, Christ Himself stands at the door today with hand extended, ready to receive anyone who comes to Him in confession.

A courtroom is in session โ€” and Someone is pleading our case! On August 21, 2026, our church gathered for a Vesper Service with a message from ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐˜€.

The message traced Christ's ministry from His ascension in the holy place to His entrance into the Most Holy Place in 1844, marking the beginning of the investigative judgment. Sis. Jheliane walked us through the books of heaven โ€” the Book of Life, the Book of Remembrance, and the Book of Sins โ€” and how every article of sanctuary furniture, from the Altar of Burnt Offering to the Ark of the Covenant, points forward to Christ's work of atonement on our behalf.

She reminded the congregation that the investigative judgment should not make us run away from Christ, but run toward Him โ€” for even now, He stands as our Advocate before the Father, pleading His wounded hands on our behalf and offering grace sufficient to overcome every defect of character.

The session featured the testimony of Immanuel SDA Church in Toronto, Canada โ€” once a cold, divided, and prayerless congregation, transformed after two of its members began interceding through the 24/7 United Prayer ministry. What started as a quiet commitment to prayer grew into a Spirit-filled church where young and old now pray together, families have been healed, and souls continue to be won for Christ.

The message reminded us that prayer is not a last resort but the first priority โ€” and that when a church truly seeks God together, revival, unity, and growth naturally follow.

The evening closed with a guided time of prayer through Adoration, Confession, Supplication, and Thanksgiving, anchoring hearts in Scripture as we prayed for our own church's revival.

As part of our journey through "๐—š๐—ฃ๐—ฆ: ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ'๐˜€ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป โ€” ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—›๐—ผ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ: ๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜‚๐˜€," participants engaged in two interactive, team-based activities designed to uncover the biblical meaning of the Holy Place and apply its lessons to real life.

In "๐—›๐—ผ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ: ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜," teams examined Bible verses and sorted them according to the three Holy Place symbols โ€” ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ, ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜, and ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ฒ โ€” opening their Bibles to discuss and explain how each passage connects to its symbol. Through this, they discovered how the Holy Place points to Jesus as our spiritual nourishment, guide, and Intercessor.

In "๐—›๐—ผ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ: ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜," teams were given real-life cases involving spiritual emptiness, difficult decisions, unanswered prayers, self-reliance, and feelings of unworthiness. They had to identify the primary spiritual need, determine which Holy Place lesson best addressed it, and support their answer with Scripture. What made this round even more engaging was that participants also became the judges of each other's cases โ€” listening, evaluating, and determining whether an interpretation was biblically sound, encouraging them not just to answer, but to think critically, defend their reasoning, and root every judgment in Scripture.

Together, the two activities moved participants from asking "What does Scripture say?" to "How does this truth apply to real life?" โ€” reminding everyone that the Holy Place is not merely about understanding symbols, but about recognizing Jesus in them: ๐—๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐˜‚๐˜€.

The goal was never simply to know the Holy Place, but to recognize Jesus in it โ€” and to learn to depend on Him in everyday life.
