Matthew 4:19
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” NKJV

This verse came to mind when I saw our venue for our last activity. A Boat House in the quiet fishing village of Larap.

The number of those who pre-registered for our activity in the area is just around 41 children but just like when the disciples casted their net, the catch came back full! Praise God! From 41, the attendees doubled. Children came with their siblings, cousins, neighbors, and playmates.

Praying that we will get to see these children again for our DVBS.

Isaiah 52:7
"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaim peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvations, who says to Zion, " Your God reigns!" NKJV

Panggono. A small village tucked at the edge of Brgy. San Isidro. To get there, our team had to travel before dawn and over rough and bumpy roads but God is good. He provided us with two sturdy vehicles and we arrived at the site safe and sound.

At 9am, children from all over the village came and gathered at the small building where our group had set up for the activity. We had the pleasure of meeting a little girl with her mom who walked a kilometer or two just to attend the event yet she was all smiles when she entered the classroom!

We were so blessed to witness how the children enjoyed their time singing, listening to Bible Stories, learning and memorizing verses. Best of all, they learned about Jesus!

It was well worth the travel up the mountains!
