On February 27, 2026, the Catholic Youth Ministry gathered at the Fr. Hilarion Gym for a solemn and joyful celebration in honor of the Feast of St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows with the theme, โKabatan-onan ni Kristo: Nagkahiusa sa Gugma ug Pag-alagad Duyog ni San Gabrielโ.
The event commenced with a Holy Mass and Holy Hour presided over by Fr. Stanley D. Baldon, CP, providing a foundation of prayer and reflection for the dayโs activities. Following a communal breakfast and the KrisKa Session, the morning program featured a formal Welcome Address by the Parish Youth Council President, Mr. John Rey R. Vargas, and an insightful input about the life our dear patron by Rev. Arnie Jade Rosco, CP entitled, "From Ordinary Youth to Patron of the Young: The Inspiring Life of St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows".
Interactive segments, including Animation by Youth Encounter Batch 81 and the "Buddy Clock" activity, successfully fostered a spirit of camaraderie and engagement among all participants.
The afternoon session maintained this momentum with a series of cultural presentations and spirited games, highlighted by a moving inspirational message from Youth Adviser, Ms. Christine Regalado. The activity concluded with a message of acknowledgment from Ghieno Chriz S. Mediano, followed by the presentation of certificates to the various Zones and a commemorative photo opportunity.
The celebration reached its finale through a community dance, symbolizing unity and shared joy, and a closing prayer of thanksgiving.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this feast, honoring the legacy of St. Gabriel through faith, fellowship, and service.
Viva San Gabriel, viva!
