When we look at every day through earthly eyes, life may seem overwhelming. We seek to escape, to disappear. We become weary of doing good. But this was never God's design for us as followers of Jesus.

We are meant to live victorious, with no fear of sin or death. Jesus had the final say 2,000 years ago, and He still affirms it today.

By resurrecting back to life, Jesus broke the power of sin and its penalty, death, in our lives. Through His victory, we too can see victory inour everyday challenges. No problem is too large, or too small, for Him.

Together, we will look at the power of Jesus' resurrection and how it brings us victory over sin and death for the next five weeks.

Jesus had the power to let the cup of suffering pass from Him, but He chose to obey His Father and let God's will be done. The ultimate service that Christ gave to us is letting go of His rights and His power so that we would be spared from the cup of God's wrath. Christ served, sacrificed, and suffered for our salvation.
