Today is a day of double honor. We celebrate your life and we celebrate the ministry you’ve built among us. Though you are transitioning to a new assignment, the impact you’ve made as our Associate Pastor is a permanent part of our story.

Our prayer for your birthday is may the Lord give you the desires of your heart. May He bless you with health, laughter, and the strength to tackle your new mission with the same passion we’ve come to love. Thank you for everything, Pastor Ben, here’s to a landmark year of grace and new beginnings!

Resurrection Sunday: The Greatest Victory

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” -1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭55‬ ‭

The battle is over. Death is defeated. The King has risen!

On this Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and life over death. Jesus bore our sins so we could wear His righteousness; He entered the grave so we could enter His glory.

The debt is canceled, the grave is conquered, and we stand redeemed in His victory! Hallelujah to the Lord of Life!

Holy Saturday Reflection

“The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” -Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬

There is a unique weight to the day after the cross. It is a day of silence, of waiting, and of the “not yet”. To the world, the tomb looked like a finality. But in the quiet and the darkness, God was still at work.

Holy Saturday reminds us that even when we cannot see it, God is moving. Even when the stone is still in place, His victory is secure. If you are in a season of waiting, caught between the pain of yesterday and the promise of tomorrow, do not lose heart!

Today, let us rest in the stillness. May we wait in hope, knowing that the God who kept His promise on the cross is the same God who will surely roll away the stone.

The dawn is coming.

Good Friday Reflection

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” -Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭5‬ ‭

Today, we remember the depth of a love that chose the cross. When Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” what looked like defeat was actually the greatest victory in history. He bore the weight of our sins and the sting of our brokenness, exchanging His life for our forgiveness, healing, and new life.

As we reflect on the cross, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and humility. Let us not rush past this moment, but hold fast to the finished work of Christ—the truth that we are deeply loved and fully redeemed.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together.” – Hebrews 10:24–25

What a blessing to gather as one church family—encouraging one another, growing together, and lifting our praises to the Lord. Every moment in His presence strengthens our faith and reminds us that we are never alone. Praying that the love we’ve received will overflow into our homes and communities this week.
