May 22, 2026 | Social Graces Seminar

The JOMI aspirants attended a meaningful Social Graces Seminar led by Ma'am Judy Giguiento on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The seminar was devoted to cultivating good manners, correct etiquette, a proper sense of identity, and a sense of the values that one is expected to have as a rightminded seminarian. Additionally, it highlighted the need to live a life worthy of God's grace and be a positive influence to others through their words and actions.

We are so grateful to Miss Judy Giguiento for sharing her knowledge, wisdom and experiences with us, making this seminar inspirational and enriching for all♡

May 19, 2026 | Celebration of the 26th Perpetual Vows Anniversary and 62nd Birthday of Bro. Jose Aduana, OMI

With hearts full of gratitude, the community joyfully celebrated the 26th Perpetual Vows Anniversary and 62nd Birthday of on May 19, 2026. Though his birthday falls on May 16, this special gathering was an opportunity to honor both his life and his faithful commitment to the Oblate vocation. For more than two decades, Bro. Jose has been a witness of humble service, dedication, and perseverance in religious life, inspiring many through his example. As we thank God for the gift of his vocation and life, we pray for his continued good health, happiness, and many more years of fruitful service in the mission of the Church and the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉.

These young men from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, who are the aspirants of the Juniorate of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, have gathered together for their 15 day summer orientation to continue on their journey of formation, discernment, and brotherhood in response to God's call.

Each face behind tells a story of perseverance, sacrifice, courage and faith. They depart their homes and their comfort zones, and willingly enter into the seminary with their hearts hoping to explore the greater side of themselves.

While their journeys may sometimes be difficult, their willingness to serve God asks them to do which reminds us that all callings start with a “yes” from the heart.

Let us welcome our aspirants in this beautiful path of discernment and formation. Let us pray for them that God will help them to lead their hearts and in a good way to the mission He has given them to undertake!!

May 21st, 2026 | Happy Religious Vows Anniversary to our dear JOMI Formators!

As an addendum, today, along with the feast day of saint Eugene, the brothers and priests of Oblates of Mary Immaculate celebrate the gift of 1st religious vocation and fidelity to God through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience celebrated on their novitiate times. May 21 holds a special meaning for many OMI religious, as it marks the anniversary of their lifelong commitment to serve Christ and His people through the charism of St. Eugene de Mazenod. We thank God for the lives and mission of our dear formators who continue to guide and inspire us seminarians each day.

Fr. Renante continues to be a fatherly presence in the seminary community, guiding seminarians with wisdom, patience, and care. Through his leadership and quiet dedication, he inspires us to remain faithful to our vocation and to grow closer to God.

Bro. Joe is known for his concern and kindness toward everyone in the seminary community. His generosity, humble service, and brotherly care remind us that simple acts of love can greatly strengthen community life.

Fr. Jaime continuously shares his knowledge and wisdom with great eagerness, helping seminarians grow academically and spiritually. His dedication to teaching and formation encourages us to become responsible, faithful, and well-formed future servants of the Church.

May God continue to bless Bro. Mauricio for his unending zeal in preaching and encouraging seminarians through his inspiring words and joyful witness. His dedication and passion for mission continually remind us to persevere in our calling with faith and courage.

This lovely quote is a reminder that holiness starts with learning how to love, respect and serve others as a real human being. St. Eugene understood that all people were called to live good lives, and he knew that all people are called to be saints through the love and mercy of Christ.

St. Eugene de Mazenod was born in France in 1782 and is the founder of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). He spent his life preaching to the poor, abandoned, and unchurched. By his missionary spirit and devotion to the Church, he was known as a saint of compassion and evangelization. Today, the Oblate church worldwide celebrates his feast day on May 21.

Pray for us, St. Eugene de Mazenod, all the missionaries, the seminarians, all who are discerning their vocation, as well as the less fortunate. May your example teach us to love God with all our hearts and to serve others with all our strength.

The JOMI Summer Orientation 2026–2027 officially opened with a registration of the aspirants from North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Manila, and Leyte here at the seminary. There were a lot of new friends to meet, settling in and getting ready for a 15 days of orientation, prayer and community life as Junior Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

May we pray that more young people will bravely respond to God's call and that we will see more of them in the future.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and helped in the successful OMI vocation recruitment. Thank you to be part of this mission and ministry!

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the life and vocation of Your faithful servant, Bro. Jose C. Aduana, OMI. Today, we celebrate the 26th Anniversary of his Perpetual Vows in the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

For twenty-six years, Bro. Jose has walked the path of the Gospel, bringing hope to the poor and light to the forgotten. Lord, continue to ignite within him the fire of Your Spirit, the humility of Mary Immaculate, and the missionary courage of St. Eugene de Mazenod. May his life remain a vibrant witness of Your love and a blessing to the Church.

Grant him many more years of fruitful ministry and the grace of perseverance. In Jesus' name. Amen.
