O Heart all lovable and all loving of my Savior, be the Heart of my heart, the soul of my soul, the spirit of my spirit, the life of my life and the sole principle of all my thoughts, words and actions, of all the faculties of my soul, and of all my senses, both interior and exterior.

SOLEMNITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI

O God, who in this wonderful Sacrament have left us a memorial of your Passion, grant us, we pray, so to revere the sacred mysteries of your Body and Blood that we may always experience in ourselves the fruits of your redemption. Who live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

In the Blessed Sacrament, we have the literal presence of Jesus Christ. The bread and wine are transformed into his body and blood through the power of the Holy Spirit. When we receive the Eucharist, we are receiving not only a symbol or a representation but the actual person of Jesus himself.

This reality of the Real Presence challenges our human understanding. It calls us to transcend our limited perception and embrace the profound mystery of faith. We may ask ourselves, "How can this be? How can something so ordinary become the extraordinary presence of God?" The answer lies not in our logic or reasoning, but in our willingness to trust and believe.

The Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist is not a doctrine to be debated or a theory to be analyzed. It is a reality to be embraced and lived. May we strive to deepen our understanding and appreciation of this profound mystery. May we seek to encounter Jesus in the breaking of the bread and the sharing of the cup. And may His presence in the Eucharist inspire us to live as His disciples, bringing His love and compassion to a world in need.

Let us approach this sacrament with reverence and awe, knowing that we are encountering our Lord and Savior in a very real way. May we be transformed by his presence in our lives and may he continue to nourish us on our journey towards eternal life.

HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY

The Catholic Church celebrates this unfathomable mystery each year on the Sunday following Pentecost. In 2023, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity is on June 4.

The teaching of the Most Blessed Trinity is the central Mystery of Christianity: God is One God in Three Divine Persons.

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, letbus deepen our relationship with the Lord, praise Him for His Goodness, thank Him for His blessings, and ask His forgiveness for all of our sins.

FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION!

(Exodus 20:16)
---
Religious worship is not directed to images in themselves, considered as mere things, but under their distinctive aspect as images leading us on to God incarnate. The movement toward the image does not terminate in it as image, but tends toward that whose image it is.

PENTECOST SUNDAY | MAY 28
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC, AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH

We're all familiar with our own birthdays, and we celebrate them because they mark the day of the year in which we entered into this life. But did you know you have a second birthday?

Because you are part of the body of the Church, Pentecost is the Church's birthday, and yours as well. And like any birthday, it's a cause for celebration.

The word Pentecost is Greek and it means "50th day." Fifty days after Easter Sunday, we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and their followers, and the beginning of their Earthly ministry to make disciples of all nations.

Pentecost is also a Jewish holiday, which the Jews use to celebrate the end of Passover. Jews celebrate the gift of the law to Moses at Mt. Sinai on this day. But we, as Catholics celebrate the birth of our Church.

At Pentecost, the Apostles and their followers were gathered in a room. Jews from all over the world were gathered with Peter, the leader of the Apostles and the Eleven. At this time, a great wind blew and a flame appeared as a tongue of fire, which split itself into many individual flames above the heads of all those present. The Holy Spirit came upon these people and each began to speak in tongues. Despite the fact many had no common language, they were perfectly able to understand one another.

Others who were no so blessed, accused those speaking in tongues of being drunk, but Peter arose and addressed the crowd, explaining that it was only 9 o'clock, and that this phenomenon was not intoxication, but rather this was the work of the Holy Spirit, prophesied in the scripture.

Peter then called all those present to be baptized and about three thousand people were baptized that day.

These people were among the first Catholics, and Peter is the first pope of the Catholic Church.

The symbols of Pentecost are the flame, wind, and the dove, which represents the Holy Spirit. The color of Pentecost is red and the priest wears red vestments on this day. Parishioners are also invited to wear red on this day. Red decorations as well as celebrations are appropriate, similar to any other birthday. Special prayers are often said just for Pentecost.

Kapatid, lagi mong tandaan walang perpektong sakristan pero lahat tayo ay may kakayahang magbago at matuto.

Nawa'y isapuso at isabuhay na sa bawat pagkakamali mo, may dapat kang bauning pagkatuto upang maging makabuluhan ang paglilingkod mo.

BLESSED SUNDAY!๐Ÿ˜‡
