𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 | The 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗠𝗬𝗥𝗢–𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗦𝗨) 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 conducted its 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗬𝗥𝗢𝗶 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝟲, 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝗥𝗛-𝗠𝗕, 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The activity gathered 97 attendees, composed of 61 sisters and 36 brothers, including guest speakers, for an afternoon dedicated to introducing new members to the history, vision, mission, and purpose of MYROi, as well as the programs and activities they can look forward to during the academic year.

The program featured discussions from MYROi kakas, the presentation of the MYRO–CotSU officers, and an overview of the chapter's upcoming activities. The oath-taking ceremony formally marked the officers' commitment to carry out their responsibilities and uphold the principles and values of the organization.

During the gathering, 𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗼 encouraged the Muslim youth to “be a catalyst of change driven by faith and hope for the future of the youth,” emphasizing their potential to become positive influences within their schools and communities.

𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻, meanwhile, reminded the participants that organizations will inevitably encounter challenges and underscored the importance of patience and steadfastness during times of hardship. 𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 also reminded the student leaders to maintain a proper balance between their studies and organizational responsibilities while, above all, never neglecting their prayers to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta‘aalaa.

The activity likewise reminded the officers that their actions, whether positive or negative, reflect not only themselves but also the organization they represent. As Muslim youth leaders, they are called to lead responsibly, uphold good character, and become catalysts of positive change.

COTABATO CITY | The 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗠𝗬𝗥𝗢-𝗡𝗗𝗨) 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 successfully conducted its 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝗩𝗥, 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, gathering 101 participants, composed of 55 brothers and 46 sisters attendees.

The activity welcomed new and returning members while providing them with a deeper understanding of MYRO and its journey as an organization. During the orientation, Kaka Ots shared the history of MYRO and highlighted its growth through the years, giving participants an appreciation of the legacy they are now part of and entrusted to continue.

The gathering culminated in the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed officers and members, formally marking their commitment to uphold the values, responsibilities, and objectives of the organization.

The activity was made possible through the collective efforts of the MYRO-NDU officers, with support from their families and partner organizations, including TRO and JTO. Their contributions also enabled the chapter to extend food and warm hospitality to the participants.

The orientation strengthened the members' sense of brotherhood and sisterhood, unity, and commitment to serving the Muslim youth with sincerity and responsibility.

In the wake of the recent devastation caused by 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, many of our brothers and sisters have been left in need of immediate assistance. As one 𝐔𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐡, let us extend our hands in compassion and solidarity by supporting those affected during this difficult time.

MYRO–CotSU showcased an interactive booth featuring games, treats, engaging activities, and a Freedom Wall, providing students with an opportunity to learn more about the organization and its advocacy of Islamic da'wah, leadership, and service.

The event, organized with the support of the University Student Council, College of Islamic Studies Local Student Council (CIS-LSC), university administration, and fellow Muslim student organizations, gathered thousands of students from across the campus.

One of the highlights of the activity came through the Freedom Wall, where a Catholic student expressed a heartfelt desire to learn more about Islam. The message served as a meaningful reminder that mutual respect, openness, and sincere dialogue can foster greater understanding among people of different faiths.

The MYRO booth also received positive feedback from the event judges and facilitators, recognizing the chapter's creativity, organization, and active engagement with students.

The Muslim Youth Religious Organization, Inc. – Undergraduates (MYRO) successfully conducted its Strategic Planning for Academic Year 2026–2027 on July 11, 2026, at the MYROi Office, Calle 6, Macapagal Street, RH-MB, Cotabato City.

The planning session brought together the newly appointed officers from the Notre Dame University and Cotabato State University chapters to review the organization's accomplishments during the previous academic year, identify priorities, and formulate strategic programs and initiatives that will guide MYROi–Undergraduates throughout the coming year.

The activity also served as a venue to strengthen collaboration among chapter leaders, reinforce the organization's mission of advancing Islamic da'wah, leadership, and community service, and establish a unified direction for the implementation of campus-based programs and outreach initiatives.

As MYROi–Undergraduates embarks on another academic year, the organization remains steadfast in its commitment to uphold Islamic values through meaningful programs, principled leadership, and collaborative action in the service of the Muslim youth and the wider community.
