CSU Advisory

Relative with the declaration of the City Government of Cotabato, you are hereby informed that classes from September 21-25, 2026 including Graduate School & NSTP CWTS-ROTC classes on September 26-27, 2026 will be conducted via online/asynchronous modalities. However, faculty members, administrative personnel and key officials are required to have their daily attendance records in their departments and biometrics. Further, offices will be open for official transactions throughout this week.

Corollary with the recent BARMM Parliamentary Elections, relative with the declaration of the City Government of Cotabato as well as in response to the request of the University Students Council, all classes will be held on Asynchronous modalities from September 15-17, 2026 respectively. Further, face to face classes and office transactions will resume on September 21, 2026 while employees are temporarily on Work-from-Home arrangement.

Alhamdulillah, the University Muslim Student Organization (UMSO) held its Strategic Planning and Workshop 2026 on August 27, 2026, at the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS).

The session focused on organizational planning, leadership roles, goal setting, and the development of programs, projects, and activities for the academic year. Guided by Dr. Mohamad Hattah Bilon, the officers were reminded of the importance of sincere niyyah, proper planning, and tawakkul in every organizational endeavor.

The officers also revisited UMSO’s Vision and Mission and conducted a SWOT Analysis to identify the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, followed by discussions for upcoming activities.

The activity also concluded with the Oath-Taking of the newly appointed UMSO Legislative Bodyβ€”Nawaf H. Samadalan, Nawaf A. Omar, Abolhair T. Abdulrashed

May Allah ο·» guide UMSO in turning these plans into meaningful actions and make our efforts beneficial to the Muslim student community and Cotabato State University.

Alhamdulillah, the University Muslim Student Organization (UMSO) participated in the BangsaWomen General Assembly 2026 held on August 22, 2026, in Darapanan, bringing together women leaders, youth, organizations, and members of the Bangsamoro community.

The gathering highlighted the importance of unity, leadership, and collective responsibility in advancing the Bangsamoro cause. The presence of the Amirul Mujahideen and representatives from different parties of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) further emphasized the value of solidarity and shared commitment in serving the Bangsamoro people.

As Muslim students and young leaders, UMSO remains committed to learning, participating, and supporting initiatives that promote peace, justice, unity, and meaningful leadership.

May Allah ο·» guide our leaders, strengthen our unity, and grant us sincerity and wisdom in every responsibility entrusted to us.
