Alhamdulillah, the University Muslim Student Organization (UMSO) was represented at the Youth Summit 2026 held on August 13, 2026, at Golden Lace, Cotabato City.

The summit provided valuable discussions on Youth Participation in Governance and the Right to Suffrage, Parliamentary Procedures and Rules of Order, and Technical Writing for Proposals, Resolutions, and Ordinances.

Representing UMSO were Hadiya Y. Zacaria, Creative Secretary, and Analyn L. Panegas, Assistant Creative Secretary.

The University Muslim Student Organization (UMSO) has officially received its Certificate of Renewal from the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) of Cotabato State University, together with 35 other recognized student organizations during the renewal ceremony held on August 6, 2026.

This renewal is more than a recognitionโ€”it is a renewed commitment to serve with amanah, integrity, and excellence. As we begin another academic year, UMSO remains committed to promoting unity, developing student leaders, and serving the CotSU community for the sake of Allah.

Alhamdulillฤh, the University Muslim Student Organization (UMSO) successfully held its Oath Taking and Turnover Ceremony today at the Conference Room, OSAS, Cotabato State University, carrying the theme "Honoring the Legacy, Upholding the Amanah, and Inspiring Service for the Sake of Allah." During the program, Dr. Mohammad Hattah Bilon reminded everyone that leadership is an amanah entrusted by Allah ๏ทป that must be fulfilled with sincerity and accountability; USC Vice President Nadah Edris encouraged all student organizations to never hesitate in approaching the USC, assuring that no organization should ever be left behind; Outgoing Executive Secretary Alondra Akmad expressed her unwavering support for UMSO and shared that the organization will always hold a special place in her heart; while Outgoing President Saudi G. Abdul reflected on the importance of patience, unity, and teamwork in leadership, reminding everyone that an organization can only succeed when its members work together, and encouraging the new administration to continue reaching out to more Muslim students so that UMSO may grow stronger and continue its mission on campus.

As the new administration officially accepted this amanah, we sincerely thank our former officers, adviser, university officials, alumni, and everyone who has been part of UMSO's journey. May Allah ๏ทป grant us sincerity, wisdom, and steadfastness as we continue serving the Muslim student community for His sake.
