⛔️ WEEKLY HALAQAH CANCELLATION ⛔️

Please be informed that our weekly halaqah scheduled for tomorrow, May 17, is cancelled due to the 12.5 hours emergency power interruption announced by the NGCP.

Everyone is encouraged to review and study our previous lessons to continue benefiting from the knowledge discussed in our sessions.

Jazakumullahu khayran, and may Allah continue to increase us in beneficial knowledge.

In the meantime, everyone is encouraged to review and study our previous lessons to continue benefiting from the knowledge discussed in our sessions.

We also ask everyone to make du‘a that Allah grants ease, protection, and barakah to all affected by the interruption.

Join us as we gather in gratitude and joy to celebrate the blessed day of ‘Eid.

The Prophet ﷺ said, as narrated by Umm ‘Atiyyah رضي الله عنها:

🌙 ZAKATUL FITR 1447 AH

The community of Masjid Chio-Sampulna is now accepting Zakatul Fitr from those who would like to entrust us with its proper collection and distribution to qualified recipients.

Alhamdulillah, for the past 7 years, our community has been consistently collecting and distributing Zakatul Fitr to those who are entitled to receive it, ensuring that it reaches them before the day of Eid al-Fitr.

Amount of Zakatul Fitr:
• 3 kilograms of rice per person

You may drop off your Zakatul Fitr directly at Masjid Chio-Sampulna.

📅 Important Dates:
• Last day of accepting Zakatul Fitr: March 18, 2026
• Distribution to recipients: March 19, 2026

We kindly ask everyone who is obligated to give Zakatul Fitr to fulfill it on time so that our brothers will still have time to repack it.

Zakatul Fitr measurements:
The Prophetic "Sā'" which is used to determine the amount for Zakāh al-Fitr is by volumetric unit (not by unit mass). One prophetic sā' is 3 liters.
After measuring 3 liters of rice, we have converted it into kilogram and it turns out to be 3 kilograms.
