Today, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, let us gather in faith and thanksgiving as we celebrate the 11th Diocesan Thanksgiving Day.

We warmly invite all parishioners of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary to join the Holy Mass at 𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 as we thank God for His abundant blessings and reflect on our shared calling to worship and serve.

After the Holy Mass, let us continue our celebration with a fellowship dinner. We encourage everyone to bring a simple dish to share as we gather in gratitude, fellowship, and Christian unity.

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖙𝖉𝖔𝖜𝖓 𝖍𝖆𝖘 𝖇𝖊𝖌𝖚𝖓.

In just two days, the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary will have the privilege of hosting the 5th Mindanao East Clergy Convocation 2026 from July 13 to 17, 2026.

This gathering will bring together the bishops, clergy, and delegates of the Mindanao East Regional Conference for days of worship, reflection, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the mission of the Church.

Inspired by the theme, "Upholding life and dignity of every human person," this Convocation calls us to deepen our faith, strengthen our unity, and continue serving God's people with compassion and love.

As the host Cathedral, we extend our warmest welcome to every bishop, priest, deacon, delegate, and guest who will be joining us in Cortes, Surigao del Sur. We pray for your safe travels and look forward to sharing this meaningful occasion with you.

May the Holy Spirit guide every preparation and bless every participant as we gather as one Church in Christ.

The grand finale is finally here!

After days filled with fun, learning, worship, friendship, and unforgettable memories, we are excited to invite everyone to the Culmination of Vacation Church School 2026 this Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM!

Come and witness our wonderful learners as they showcase their talents, performances, and the beautiful lessons they discovered throughout this year’s VCS journey. From songs and dances to inspiring presentations, this celebration is truly a joyful reflection of young hearts growing in faith and love.

We are also humbly knocking on your kind hearts as we are OPEN FOR DONATIONS OF ANY AMOUNT for the TOKENS of our VCS children.
Your simple act of generosity will surely bring happiness and encouragement to our young learners as they complete this meaningful journey. No amount is too small when shared with love and compassion.

Day 10 | VCS 2026

It’s finally the last day of our VCS 2026, and our hearts are filled with mixed emotions. There is joy from all the laughter, learning, and memories we shared, and at the same time a little sadness as this beautiful journey comes to an end. From the very first day up to today, our learners have truly grown, not just in skills but in faith and confidence.

Now, we are excited for what’s next! We warmly invite everyone to come and witness our VCS Culmination on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Our learners will proudly showcase what they have learned and show how they are truly kawangis ng Diyos through their talents, performances, and joyful hearts.

We sincerely apologize for not having photos to share for Day 7 of VCS 2026. It was Sunday, and our youth assigned on documentation were serving as altar servers, so we were unable to capture the moments.

Even so, the day was filled with joy, learning, and meaningful experiences for our learners, and we are grateful that they truly enjoyed every part of it.
