๐๏ธTonight, we honor the life of God's Faithful Servant - Sister MANCING GAWAT.
Our hearts are heavy, but they are also full of gratitude. Because you are now home โ in the very arms of Jesus that you loved so well here on earth.
We remember you not just as a member of our church, but as a true sister in Christ. Your faith wasnโt loud, it was steady. Even in hard seasons, when life felt heavy and the world gave you every reason to stay home, you still chose to come. You still chose to worship. You still chose Jesus.
That Sunday after Sunday faithfulness said so much. It told us that loving Jesus wasnโt just something you talked about โ it was who you were. You sang even when you were tired. You prayed even when you were hurting. You showed up to serve, to listen, to encourage, because you knew that Jesus was worth it.
And now, the One you ran to every Sunday has run to meet you. The tears are wiped away. The pain is gone. The faith that carried you through hard times has become sight. You are finally in the presence of the Savior you adored.
We will miss your seat in service. We will miss your smile, your โAmen", your "Hallelujah !โ, your "Ginoo ko, Salamat! (kada wali) and your quiet encouragement in the hallway. But we wonโt miss the hope you gave us โ the reminder that Jesus is enough, even in the valley.
Revelation 14:13 says - Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.
Sister, your deeds of faithfulness are following you, and they are still speaking to us today.
Thank you for showing us what it looks like to love Jesus with a whole heart. Thank you for teaching us perseverance without preaching a word. Thank you for being a living testimony that joy in the Lord can carry us through anything.
We donโt say goodbye, we say โsee you later.โ Because of Jesus, we know we will see you again in a place with no more goodbyes, no more pain, only worship that never ends.
Rest well in Godโs hands, dear sister. You fought the good fight, you finished the race, you kept the faith. And now your crown awaits.
We love you, we honor you, and we will carry your example with us every Sunday until weโre all together again.
You will always be remembered!โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
