LOOK I A Celebration of Unity, Vision, and Shared Commitment.

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) of Cordova marked a meaningful milestone as it successfully held its Year-End Party and One-Year Planning at Cordova Reef, Cordova, Cebu last January 2, 2026. The gathering was more than just a celebration—it was a testament to the strong bond, unity, and collaborative spirit that continue to define the organization. Through fellowship, laughter, and shared experiences, the Year-End Party strengthened relationships among members, fostering a deeper sense of belonging and teamwork that will carry the council forward.

Equally significant was the One-Year Planning session, which laid the foundation for the council’s goals and initiatives for the year ahead. This planning was spearheaded by PYCC President, Ms. Jasmine Shane Barellano, whose leadership and vision guided the discussions toward purposeful and impactful youth programs. The council was also honored to be guided by its Youth Adviser, Ms. Gleennice T. Degamo, whose insights and support continue to inspire the youth to serve with dedication and faith.

On this Gaudete Sunday, we pause in our Advent journey to embrace the joy that fills our hearts and spirits. As the pink candle glows a reminder amidst the purple reflections of penance, we celebrate the anticipation of Christ's coming into our lives.

In our busy lives, filled with worries and challenges, this Sunday calls us to lift our gaze and find joy in the simple blessings around us—a warm cup of coffee shared with a friend, a smile from a stranger, or a moment of stillness in the chaos.

Just as the shepherds rejoiced at the birth of Christ, we are invited to embrace the light of hope and share that joy with those around us. In our family's laughter, our acts of kindness, and our moments of gratitude, we reflect the love of Christ.
