Yesterday, the Rubio family dedicated their home to the Lord, a reminder of His faithfulness, provision, and grace through every season.

Our prayer is that the Lord Jesus Christ would reign as King over this home and over every heart within it. May He continually fill this house with peace, wisdom, love, and steadfast faithfulness. May His Word guide every decision made within these walls, and may this home always be a place where Christ is honored and prayers are lifted. May the Lord continue to sustain and bless the family as they seek to glorify Him in every season of life.

Today, our young explorers reached the final journey of VBS 2026 as they continued discovering that the greatest treasure anyone could ever have is Christ Himself.

As the children learned about Zacchaeus, they saw how one encounter with Jesus completely changed a manโ€™s heart. Though Zacchaeus once treasured wealth and dishonest gain, he joyfully turned away from those things after meeting Christ. The children learned that when Jesus changes a heart, our desires also begin to change, and we begin to treasure Him more than the things of this world.

Through the lesson, the children were encouraged to seek Christ with sincere hearts and to understand that true joy and lasting riches are found only in Him. It has been a blessing to witness these young treasure hunters grow in their knowledge of Godโ€™s Word throughout this week.

May the Lord continue to guide them to walk faithfully with Christ and to seek treasures that will last for eternity.

Today, our young explorers continued their journey as they learned that the greatest treasure in life is knowing and loving Christ above all else.

As the children learned about Mary Magdalene humbly washing the feet of Jesus, they saw a beautiful picture of love, worship, and surrender to Christ. Mary valued Jesus more than earthly possessions, and through her actions, the children learned that a heart devoted to Christ treasures Him above everything else.

This connected with our memory verse from Philippians 3:8, where Paul declares that everything is counted as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. The children were encouraged to seek Christ not only with their words, but with hearts that truly love, honor, and follow Him.

It has been a blessing to see these young treasure hunters growing in their understanding that Jesus Himself is the greatest treasure anyone could ever find. May the Lord continue to guide their hearts to love Him more each day.

Today, our young explorers continued their voyage as they journeyed deeper into discovering the greatest treasure anyone could ever find, which is Christ Himself.

As the children learned about โ€œThe Treasure of Safetyโ€ through the parable of the rich fool in Luke 12:13โ€“21, they were reminded that earthly riches cannot give lasting security. This is connected with Matthew 6:20, where Jesus teaches us to store up treasures in heaven that will never fade away. The children were encouraged to place their hope not in temporary things, but in Christ and His eternal promises.

They were also reminded that Jesus sees not only our actions, but also our hearts. When we serve, give, and obey out of love for Him, we are storing treasures that will never fade away.

It has been a joy to see these young treasure hunters learning that true security is found in the hands of God alone. May the Lord continue to guide their hearts to seek heavenly treasures that will never fade away.

Today, our young explorers officially began their voyage as we opened Day 1 of Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2026. With excitement, laughter, songs, lessons, and joyful fellowship, the children started a journey to discover the greatest treasure anyone could ever find, which is Christ Himself.

As we journey through this week together, we are reminded of Godโ€™s promise in Jeremiah 29:13, โ€œYou will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.โ€ Our prayer is that every child would come to know that the greatest treasure is not found in gold or hidden maps, but in knowing Christ, โ€œin whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledgeโ€ (Colossians 2:3).

From every activity to every Bible lesson shared today, we thank the Lord for the opportunity to point young hearts toward the riches of His truth, grace, and salvation.

The voyage has begun, and we praise God for a blessed first day together.โš“๏ธ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

Happy Motherโ€™s Day to the women whose faithfulness shaped lives more than they probably know.

For the open arms when life felt heavy.
For the prayers whispered when nobody else knew the struggle.
For the reminders to keep going when giving up felt easier.
For the kind of love that made a house feel like home.

God, in His wisdom, gave many of us mothers who carried burdens quietly, loved sacrificially, and kept pointing their families forward even through exhaustion and difficulty.

This Motherโ€™s Day, we thank God for mothers who remained steadfast through every season and became instruments of grace in the lives of those entrusted to them.

Now that we are in 2026, many of us try to reorder our lives by setting new goals, building better habits, and making fresh plans. Yet the most important examination is not outward but inward.

We must honestly ask a simple and serious question. Who truly sits on the throne of my heart?

If our reflection shows that Christ only has a place in our schedule instead of ruling over it, then something is out of order. Putting God first is not an extra spiritual practice. It is the beginning of true wisdom. When the Lord is not at the center, everything else slowly falls into confusion.

As this new year begins, the call is not to add Jesus to a list of intentions. It is to place every plan, affection, and ambition under His lordship. This year is not only about resolutions. It is about surrender.
