JESUS CHRIST KING OF GLORY CHURCH (JCKG), formerly Imago Dei Christian Fellowship, is a born-again Christian church based in Cordova, Cebu. We are a community established to serve, exalt, magnify, and glorify the King of kings and Lord of lords—our Savior, Redeemer, and the only begotten Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ. Jumao-as, Jomari Zarate, and Kimberly Menguito. We also have sister churches located in Camolinas and Gilutungan Island, Cordova, Cebu. Since our establishment in 1992, our mission has remained the same: to proclaim the Gospel of salvation to all people and to gather as one body in worship, honoring and glorifying His holy name. 🌍✨ 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 ✨🌍

God’s mission has always been clear—to seek and save the lost, reveal His love, and establish His Kingdom throughout the world. This is not about methods, programs, or resources. It’s about the MISSION.

Every soul is precious in the sight of God. Humanity is His most valuable creation, made in His image and likeness. That is why Christ came—to reconcile people back to God and offer eternal life through Him.

📖 “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10

As believers, we are not merely spectators of God’s work—we are participants in it. Jesus entrusted us with a mission:

➡️ To share the Gospel.
➡️ To help reconcile people to God.
➡️ To make disciples of all nations.
➡️ To display God’s glory among all people.

This is a special mission because we serve a special God.
This is a serious mission because souls are at stake.
This is a challenging mission, but it is also a secured mission because Jesus promised to be with us always.

No treasure in this world can compare to the value of a soul. No success, wealth, or achievement can replace eternity.

The mission is possible because God is with us.

🔥 Let us carry His mission with faith, compassion, and obedience until every soul has the opportunity to know Christ.

📖 THE PRINCIPLES OF CHRIST’S MISSION

“As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” — John 20:21

Jesus did not save us merely to occupy a seat in church—He saved us to continue His mission.

👣 The Principle of Involvement
Christ stepped into people’s lives before He transformed them. The Kingdom advances when believers actively engage, serve, give, and participate in God’s work.

❤️ The Principle of Compassion
Jesus saw people through the eyes of the Father—not as burdens, but as souls in need of grace. His mission was driven by a heart that loved, cared, and reached out to the broken.

✝️ The Principle of Sacrifice
The mission of Christ requires more than interest—it requires surrender. Our time, resources, comfort, and ambitions become powerful tools in God’s hands when placed on His altar.

🌱 The Principle of Multiplication
Jesus did not simply gather followers; He made disciples who would make disciples. The Gospel spreads when believers intentionally invest in others and raise up the next generation of Christ-followers.

The world is still waiting for men and women who will continue the work of Jesus Christ. The question is not whether the mission exists—the question is whether we are willing to embrace it.

🌷 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 🌷

Today, as we gather in worship on this last Sunday of May, JCKG Church joyfully celebrates and honors all mothers—our God-given nurturers, prayer warriors, teachers, and examples of steadfast love.

“Their children arise and call them blessed; their husband also, and he praises them.” — Proverbs 31:28

To every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, and mother figure, thank you for your faithful sacrifices, unwavering prayers, and Christ-like love that continue to shape families and generations for God’s glory.

May the Lord strengthen your hands, fill your heart with His peace, and richly reward your labor of love. Your influence is a beautiful reflection of God’s care, compassion, and faithfulness.

Today, we celebrate you, honor you, and thank God for you.
