𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓
Matthew 10:16-22

“All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

When we receive the Lord, we become like sheep among wolves. We are not called into comfort, but into a life of following Christ which means carrying His heart, His vision, and His mission.

God never promised an easy life, but He did promise this: He will never leave us nor forsake us.

That is why we must understand what it truly means to walk with Him:

• Who we are : our identity in Christ
• What we do : our role in Christ
• What we bear : our destiny in Christ

Everything we do flows from who we are. Our identity is not built on possessions, achievements, or titles, but in Christ alone. Connection creates identity, and as we stay connected to Jesus, He continues to shape us into His likeness.

WE ARE CHAMPIONS

“For we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” - Romans 8:37

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” - Philippians 4:13

“...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him He endured the cross, scorning its shame...” - Hebrews 12:2

Champions fight battles ⚔️

David was a warrior who was never defeated in battle because the Lord was with him. God never promised a life without problems, but He promised His presence in every battle.

“Consider it pure joy, brethren whenever you undergo trials of many kinds.” - James 1:2

Our trials can become our victories because every battle becomes an opportunity to show that we have a living God. The battle is the Lord's, and whatever God gave you is enough to be used as a tool for your victory.

👉🏿Champions fight battles with purpose.
👉🏿Champions fight battles bigger than themselves.
👉🏿Champions fight for God.
👉🏿Champions win for God.

Stop living in defeat. Start living in victory.

Growth in faith is not accidental..
—it’s intentional.

Stay planted,
stay teachable, and
stay committed.

You are not just called to believe..
—you are called to become!

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

Discipleship is the process where
belief turns into life,
imperfections turns into faith,
and love turns into movement
that compels you to reach out.

Today, another soul received Jesus as His Lord and Savior! Another great rejoicing in heaven for this new life that has begun.

She's no longer just a nurse, a daughter and a friend, but now a child of God who gained a new life in Christ.

- 2 Corinthians 5:17
. Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

MINIS-3 MISCONCEPTIONS:
(A Gentle Reminder for Ministry Volunteers)

Serving in church is a beautiful "calling".

But let’s be honest—sometimes, along the way, we get tired, misunderstood, or even misaligned. And that’s okay. It doesn’t make you a bad servant—it just means you’re learning the curves of ministry.

First and foremost, we should remind ourselves:

Ministry is not just handing a hand to help
but it is more on handling hearts and dying of oneself.

You lead while you bleed.
You serve the undeserved.
You care but they don't care about you..

Ministry is sacrifice, but take heart, your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
- 1 Corinthians 15:58

This truth is distorted when the following misconceptions occur:

DISCLAIMER:
This is not a call-out.
It’s a call back—back to the heart of why we started.

❤️ #1 DISTORTION: “MEnistry”
(When Serving Becomes About "Me")

Isang sakit na nakakahawa sa ministry ang
"Acolagy" o AKO LAGI

-ako nalang..
-ako padin!
-ako naman........
-ako talaga?

There are moments when, deep inside, we hope to be noticed… appreciated… affirmed.

And that’s not wrong—we all need encouragement.

But ministry becomes lighter when we remember, we were never serving for "applause", but from LOVE.
-Love for God
-Love for His people
-Love for His work

📖 “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

Even the unseen acts, the quiet sacrifices, the moments no one claps for—God sees them all.

💛 Gentle Reminder:
You don’t need a spotlight to be significant in God’s kingdom. When people sees your appearance, God sees your heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)

❤️ #2 DISTORTION: “MEANistry”
(When Pressure Affects Our Attitude, we become "mean")

Sometimes, it’s not that we want to be harsh or to be mean with others—it’s just that we’re tired, pressured, or carrying too much.

We didn’t mean to sound impatient..
We didn’t mean to come off strong..
We didn't mean to offend anyone...
Yet things sometimes get out of hand..

And the good news?
God is still working in us,
for us and through us...

📖 “Be kind and compassionate to one another.” — Ephesians 4:32

Ministry is not about being perfect in attitude—it’s about allowing God to soften our rough edges as we continually serve.

💛 Gentle Reminder:
Grace isn’t just something we receive—it’s something we give, especially on hard days. So let us be willing to forgive those who hurt us at times, just as Christ has forgiven us.

❤️ #3 DISTORTION: “mINIStry”
(When Serving Feels Heavy, nakaka-inis)

There are days when ministry feels more like a responsibility than a joy.

You show up… but your heart feels tired.
You serve… but you feel empty.

If that’s you, pause—not to quit, but to reconnect.

📖 “Come to me, all you who are weary… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

God never asked you to serve Him while running on empty. He invites you to be filled first.

💛 Gentle Reminder:
You are not just a worker in God’s house—you are His child. Rest is part of your calling too.

Dear volunteer,
God is not measuring you by how flawless your service is—He treasures your heart, He rewards your hard-work, He is glorified with your fruits.

He sees your effort.
He understands your struggles.
He honors your faithfulness.

👉🏿You may be FITfull (too much responsibility to fit on)

👉🏿You may be PITfull (too much temptations to struggle with in order not to fall from God's glory)

👉🏿But God expects you to be FAITHfull (to remain in faith and obedience)

MINISTRY IS MINISTRY, it is from the word "diakonia" meaning SERVICE.
it is not MEnistry
it is not MEANistry
it is not mINIStry
it is SERVICE

📖 “Let us not become weary in doing good… at the proper time we will reap a harvest.” — Galatians 6:9

Take heart of this:
“Ministry is not about getting it all right—it’s about staying close to the One who makes everything right.”

NATANONG MO NA BA SA SARILI MO?

"Paano maririnig ng Diyos ang panalangin ko, sa dami ng nagprepray sa mundo...?"

The answer is YES, He still hears you😃

God isn’t limited like humans. He doesn’t “struggle” to hear many voices, all at once.

He is all-knowing and ever-present, so every prayer is fully heard, not divided or delayed. Naririnig ka parin ng Diyos!

The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3:
“Call to me and I will answer you…”

And in 1 John 5:14:
“If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

So it’s not about competing for God’s attention—you already have it.

It's not about competing for God's favor,
__He already saw your tears and heard your heart.

God doesn’t listen to prayers like a crowded hotline. He listens like a Father.

Even in a room full of people, a loving father recognizes the voice of his child instantly.

God doesn't hear your prayer just because it's the loudest.
God doesn't listen to your prayers just because it is the longest.
HE CLINGS HIS EAR TO YOUR PRAYERS BECAUSE IT IS REAL.

Hindi kailangan makipag-unahan kay Lord. Hindi ka “queue number.”
Kapag nagsalita ka, pinapakinggan ka Niya ng buo—parang ikaw lang ang kausap Niya.

“You’re not one of many voices to God—
you are a known voice to Him.”

Hence, keep praying!

GROWING IN FAITH is a "process".

👉🏿P — Patience in the Seasons

Hindi overnight ang growth. (Psalm 27:14)
Hindi din paunahan ang growth.(Matthew 20:16)

There are seasons of "spiritual winter" where you feel stagnant, and seasons of "spring" where everything flourishes. Trusting God's timing is the first step of growth.

👉🏿R — Root in the Word

Are your roots anchored? A growing Christian is anchored in the WORD of God. Ang Biblia ang nagbibigay ng nutrients that will keep you strong and standing when the storms of life hit you down.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
— Hebrews 6:19

👉🏿O — Obedience in the Small Things

Partial obedience, selective obedience or delayed obedience are all DISOBEDIENCE.

"Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering.." (1 Samuel 15:22)

Faith starts as small muscles that need exercises in order to grow. Big leaps of faith are usually preceded by small steps of daily obedience.

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much..." (Luke 16:10)

👉🏿C — Connection to the Community

We aren't meant to grow in isolation. Kailangan ntn ang communidad. Ang church ay binubuo ng iba't ibang pamilya na bumubuo ng isang malaking pamilya na may iisang pananampalataya. Faith is bolstered when we are surrounded by other believers who can sharpen us, pray for us, and hold us accountable.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

👉🏿E — Endurance Through Trials

Hardships are not signs that your faith is failing; it is often the "resistance training" that makes us stronger. Trials ang test kung valid ba ang ating trust kay God in producing a Christlike character.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." (James 1:2-3)

👉🏿S — Surrender of the Will

Growing in faith requires letting go of the need to control every outcome. Ito ay desisyon araw-araw ng pagpapaubayang, "Not my will Lord, but Yours be done," and trusting that His plans are better than your own.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

👉🏿S — Seeking God Continually

The process never truly ends. A healthy faith is one that continues to seek the face of God daily, through prayer and worship, recognizing that we are always a work in progress.

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." (1 Chronicles 16:11)

Let us never be tired of growing in faith.
Let us endure the process of Christ-likeness!

FOUR GIVEs to FORGIVE:

❤️GIVE YOURSELF A FRESH START

Don't dwell in the past incident.
Dealing with the hurt is not the same as dwelling in the offence. You don't actually forget the incident but you can let go of the hurt by moving on.

Isaiah 43:18
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”

→ God calls us not to live stuck in past hurts. Let go and move on.

❤️GIVE YOURSELF A HALT.

Don't bring up the past incident again to use it as a weapon against your offender. Halt yourself in recalling the hurt or shame. Instead of recalling, pursue reconciling.

Hebrews 8:12
“I will remember their sins no more.”

→ God models forgiveness that doesn’t revisit the offense and doesn't keep a scoreboard but having a mind control over emotions. Think of this, it's the mind that remembers but it's the heart that retaliates.

❤️GIVE YOUR OFFENDER A FRESH START.

Do not gossip about the offender. Give him a chance to start a clear slate without shame. Retelling the offence is also reopening the wounds that aggreviates the gaps further.

Proverbs 17:9
“Whoever covers an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.”

→ Love covers; gossip divides. Speak only what builds up, not what tears down.

❤️GIVE YOURSELVES A BOLT

Don't let the incident stand between you and your offender. Bridge the gaps. Take every effort to reconcile. Avoid passive aggressiveness, seen-modes and deliberate ignorance of someone.

Ephesians 4:31-32
“Get rid of bitterness… forgiving one another, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

→ Forgiveness removes barriers like bitterness and anger. It bolts in people to reconcile and build their relationship.

ForGIVEness is not demanded but GIVEN.
It is not merely given to your offender but also for yourself. Forgiveness sets you FREE before it frees the other person.

Take the keys today and reclaim your peace!
