Here’s a beautiful reminder from the Word in Jeremiah 17:7-8, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” (NKJV)

We celebrate you today, lifting you to the Lord who plants the trusting soul like a tree by steady waters. Be rooted in Jesus. And delight in Him in every season.

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)

You carry a holy dwelling, that’s the Holy Spirit. We do not simply “go to” an altar, we become an altar. And as His temple, we are called to be holy. To live a life of holiness. Presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Our life is an offering.

Therefore, let His light shine through you so that the world will not see us, but the One who dwells within us.

But first, surrender. ☝🏼
