𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 | As part of this year’s Pastoral Thrust 2026, “A Listening Church,” the Parish Youth Coordinating Council, through the efforts of Kabanayan 8 (Brgy. Pulpogan & Danglag), successfully conducted the pilot implementation of the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) – Youth.
The activity was attended by youth representatives from the different chapels of Kabanayan 8. They were given an orientation on the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC), its mission, and the purpose of establishing BEC–Youth within our kabanayan.
This initiative is a beautiful example of creating listening spaces, safe and welcoming communities where young people can encounter God’s Word, share their personal experiences, and openly express their struggles and challenges without fear of being judged. It is a space where every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every heart is embraced.
We thank the Kabanayan 8 Youth Coordinator, Vanessa Layon, and K8 Worship Chairperson, Raenelle Alcantara, for making this pilot-testing activity possible and a success. We thank you also for the host chapels - San Roque Chapel and Birhen sa Fatima Chapel D1.
Truly, the pilot-testing of this activity is a success as we listen with compassion, and to be understanding and loving more in the ministry.
