IN PHOTOS: INSTALLATION OF REVEREND ELOVER B. ENCISO

St. James Episcopal Church

The sacred rite of installation for Reverend Elover B. Enciso was held at St. James Episcopal Church, officiated by Bishop Hilary Jr. A. Pasikan.

The service was graced by fellow clergy and lay leaders, including Rev. Alfredo Na-oy III, Rev. June Inbentan, and Rev. Jairus Mateo. Also in attendance were Bro. Anfernee Comafay Sawad, Bro. Rhazzle Dagusen, Bro. Dunn Amon, and Sis. Charlene Kotoken.

Joining the celebration were the faithful members of the Congregation of St. James and Ascension Associated Parish, together with representatives from the different parishes of the Conner-Kabugao Deanery.

This moment marks the start of a new chapter of spiritual leadership, unity, and service to God and the community.

10th Sunday of Ordinary Time

The faithful gathered at St. James Episcopal Church to celebrate the Holy Eucharist, with Rev. Elover B. Enciso serving as the preacher for the day. 🙏✨

During her sermon based on the Gospel reading, she highlighted five meaningful points for the congregation to remember:

1. Jesus calls ordinary people — one does not need to be perfect to be chosen and called by God.
2. God sees potential while others see problems — He looks beyond faults and sees what people can become through His grace.
3. Mercy is greater than judgment — love and forgiveness always outweigh criticism and condemnation.
4. Leading faith up to Jesus — everything should point toward Christ, who is the source and goal of faith.
5. God’s promises never fail — His word is true and reliable, now and always.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, the congregation held a brief meeting regarding preparations for the upcoming Installation of Rev. Elover B. Enciso.❤️🙌

On this 3rd Sunday of Easter, we are reminded that the Risen Christ walks with us still. Just as He revealed Himself to the disciples on the road to Emmaus, He opens our eyes and hearts to recognize His presence in our daily lives—in the breaking of the bread, in His Word, and in the people we meet. May our hearts burn within us as we listen to Him, trusting that He is always guiding our steps. ❤️🙏

❤️ A HEARTFELT TRIBUTE & CELEBRATION ❤️

Today is truly a special day as we gather together here at Ascension Mission, Guinaang Conner, Apayao, to celebrate not just one, but two beautiful blessings—the Birthday and the Retirement of our very own beloved Reverend Arlene A. Ganotisi. 🎂🙏

Looking back, it has been almost 9 years of walking together in faith. These years have been filled with so much love, guidance, and service that you have poured out selflessly upon us. You weren’t just our leader; you became family. You shared in our joys, comforted us in our sorrows, and walked with us every step of the way. Your kindness, your patience, and your gentle spirit have left a mark in our hearts that time can never erase.

On behalf of the entire Saint James Episcopal Church Family, we want to say a big, heartfelt THANK YOU. Thank you for being such a wonderful instrument of God’s love. Thank you for your dedication, your prayers, and for serving us with all your heart.

As you close this chapter and move on to the next season of your life, please know that you will never be forgotten. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and in our church family. We will surely miss your presence, your voice, and your warm smile. Leaving is never easy, but we are happy knowing that you are starting a new journey filled with rest and peace.

May the Lord God continue to shower you and your family with His abundant grace, good health, and overflowing blessings. May He guide you and keep you safe always.

Dear Beloved Parishioners, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we close the old year and step onto the threshold of a new one, we give thanks for all the blessings God has poured out on our community this past year. We walk together in joy and in sorrow, share in worship and fellowship, and grow in faith as we strive to live out Christ’s call to love and serve one another.

This new year is a gift: a blank page God’s grace will help us write upon. We will deepen our faith, expand our compassion, and strengthen the unity of our church family. We will reach out more boldly to those in need, welcome the stranger among us, and reflect the light of Christ in every corner of our lives and our community.

We pray peace will fill your homes, hope will lift your hearts, and love will guide your steps each day. Whether you celebrate with family, hold space for those far away or no longer with us, or find hope in quiet moments of reflection, know we hold you in our prayers as part of the St. James family.
