Today, we joyfully witnessed a historic milestone as we have gathered for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of our soon to rise Mission Station, held in joyful commemoration of the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola at Karikitan, Conner, Apayao.

The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by our Vicar Apostolic of AVT, Most Reverend Bishop Sean B. Mejia, together with Rev. Fr. Teodoro Pic-it Jr. and Rev. Fr. Ace Blacquera.

As we laid the foundation of this sacred place, we also renewed our faith, unity, and hope as one Christian community. May this church become a lasting home of prayer, worship, and service for generations to come.

May the intercession of St. Ignatius of Loyola continue to guide and inspire us to always seek the greater glory of God.

A Joyful Pastoral Visit and Celebration of Faith 🙏

The St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Mission and Shrine warmly welcomes His Excellency, Most Rev. Sean B. Mejia, JCL, D.D., Vicar Apostolic of Tabuk, for his Pastoral Visit on June 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Join us in this grace-filled Eucharistic Celebration as we gather as one faith community to receive the spiritual guidance and blessings of our shepherd. A special highlight of the celebration will be the Rite of Confirmation, where qualified candidates will be bestowed with the Sacrament of Confirmation, strengthening them through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and deepening their commitment to Christ and His Church.

Let us come together in prayer, thanksgiving, and fellowship as we welcome our Bishop and witness this important milestone in the faith journey of our confirmands.

SINGING FOR THE LORD AND HIS SHEPHERD 🕊️

What a profound honor and a deeply humbling experience for the Mission Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Choir to have served through music during the Episcopal Ordination and Installation of Most Reverend Sean B. Mejia, JCL, D.D. as the 3rd Vicar Apostolic of Tabuk last June 2.

To lift our voices in song for such a historic and grace-filled milestone in our Vicariate is a memory we will cherish forever. We offer our melodies as a prayer for Bishop Sean's pastoral journey. May the Holy Spirit guide him as he leads his flock, and may St. Therese continue to intercede for us all! 🌹✨
