II. SCRIPTURE IS USEFUL — teaching and training believers in righteousness.
III.SCRIPTURE EQUIPS THE SERVANT OF GOD — preparing him for every good work.

Ang Salita ng Diyos ay hindi lamang para basahin, kundi upang hubugin ang buhay ng lingkod ng Diyos. Kapag hinahayaan nating kumilos ang Salita ng Diyos sa ating buhay, tayo ay unti-unting binabago, hinuhubog, at inihahanda ng Diyos para sa mabubuting gawa Kanyang inihanda para sa atin.

[11] Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned, in whatever situation I am, to be content.

[12] I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.

[13] I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

True contentment comes from trusting God in every situation. Whether in times of abundance or difficulty, strength can be found through Christ. It reminds everyone that happiness and peace do not always depend on material things or easy circumstances, but on having faith in God.

[2] And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Paul commands believers to live in sacrificial love, following the example of Christ who gave Himself for humanity.

True Christian love is demonstrated through self-sacrifice and devotion to God and others.

Believers must practice Christ-like love by sacrificing for others and living in a way that pleases God.

Ephesians 3:13 ESV
[13] So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

Paul urges believers not to be discouraged by his suffering because his imprisonment for the gospel benefits them and brings them spiritual honor.

Suffering for Christ can produce spiritual benefit and glory for God’s people.

Believers should not lose heart when they see suffering in God’s servants, but trust that God is working through it for His greater purpose.

Leviticus 26:3-4 (ESV)
“If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.”

This passage reminds us that God controls the timing of provision and fruitfulness. Just as farmers must wait for the rain to come in its proper season, we also must trust God's timing. Faithfulness in obedience does not always produce immediate visible results, but God’s promises are never forgotten.

[22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Paul explains that the Holy Spirit produces Christlike character in the lives of believers.

A life led by the Spirit produces virtues that reflect God’s character.

Believers should allow the Holy Spirit to shape their character and actions, so that the fruit of the Spirit becomes evident in their lives.

‎- In Christ, we are freed from slavery to sin and called to live as forgiven people, not return to our old life
‎II. Warning against freedom.
‎- Our freedom in Christ is not a license to sin but a call to reject the flesh, remembering that sin cost Jesus His life
‎III. How we use our freedom.
‎- We use our freedom by loving and serving one another, because true obedience to God flows from love.

Elihu warns Job not to respond to affliction by turning toward sin.

Suffering does not justify sin; hardship is never an excuse for unrighteousness.

Believers must guard their hearts during trials and refuse to let pain lead them into sin.
