“Young, Called, and Ready to Serve”
📖 1 Timothy 4:12

As we celebrate Youth Sunday, observed every second Sunday of August, we rejoice in the opportunity to serve the Lord and share the gifts and talents He has entrusted to us.

Our young people joyfully answered the call to serve—leading as liturgists, sharing their talents through the Message in Song, and offering their voices during the Offertory. Their willingness to serve reminds us that age is never a hindrance when the heart is ready to follow God’s call.

We are also grateful for our Cluster Pastor, Rev. Araceli Casiano, who inspired and reminded us through the Word of God. Her message deeply touched our hearts and encouraged us to continue walking faithfully with Christ. May her words continue to bless and guide us in our journey of faith.

Indeed, this Sunday was filled with grace and joy as we were reminded once again of Christ’s unfailing love and sacrifice. As one body in Christ, we gathered together and partook in the Holy Communion, remembering His great love and the unity we share as His people.

❤️ All glory and honor belong to God for this blessed Youth Sunday and Holy Communion!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
— 1 Timothy 4:12

Youth Sunday Celebration in UCCP Compostela 💛

"As the member of UCCP Compostela, we are overflowing with thanksgiving to God. He gave us strength, unity, and guidance to prepare and celebrate this Youth Sunday. To Him be all the glory for this blessed.”

The Lord has been faithful to us, and we want to honor Him with our worship today. As it says in Psalm 100:4, 'Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.'”

“The UCCP-Compostela recognizes and honors our dedicated fathers as we celebrate Father’s Sunday. "

Today, we give thanks to God for the gift of fatherhood and for the men who continue to serve as loving providers, spiritual leaders, and faithful examples in their homes, church, and community. Your sacrifices, guidance, and unwavering commitment reflect God’s love and care for His people.

We pray that the Lord continues to strengthen you, bless the work of your hands, and fill your hearts with wisdom, patience, and courage as you lead your families in faith. May you always walk closely with God and remain steadfast in His word.

‘As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.’ — Psalm 103:13
‘As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.’ — Joshua 24:15

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL FATHERS❤️🌷❤️

With hearts full of gratitude and praise, we gathered as one church family to celebrate Holy Communion Sunday.
Together with our newly assigned Cluster Pastor; Rev. Araceli Casiano, we experienced a meaningful time of worship, prayer, reflection, and fellowship.

Luke 22:19 (NIV)
"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’"

As we reflected on Luke 22:19–20, we were reminded of Jesus Christ's great sacrifice and His boundless love for humanity. Through the breaking of the bread and the sharing of the cup, we remembered His body given for us and His blood poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Holy Communion is a sacred reminder of God's covenant, His grace, and His faithfulness throughout every season of our lives.

BLESSED SUNDAY EVERYONE ❤️

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 31:25-31

The UCCP-COMPOSTELA Celebrates and honors mothers by recognizing their God-given role as reflections of His love and strength.

A heartfelt words of gratitude to our strong wonderful Mothers.

Your Love Mirrors God's Love

Your Strength Comes from God

You may not perfect, but they are precious.
You are the reflections of God’s love, channels of His grace, and foundations for faith in the next generation.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers there.❤️❤️🌷

📍 UCCP Compostela

“Walking with Jesus: Journeying with the Anawim”
(Zephaniah 2:3 | Luke 24:13–35)

Our journey has begun! 💛
Grateful hearts as delegates from UCCP Banlag, UCCP Monkayo, UCCP Montevista, UCCP Rizal, and the UCCP Compostela CYF gathered as one family in faith. Out of 6 local churches, 5 came together to start this meaningful walk with Christ.

From new faces to shared smiles, from silent prayers to joyful praise—Day 1 reminded us that we are never alone in this journey. Just like in the road to Emmaus, Jesus walks with us, even in moments we fail to recognize Him.

Here’s to a camp filled with growth, fellowship, and deeper faith. 🙏🔥
