[𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁]Malampusong nahuman ang District Pastoral Visit sa District 1 ug 2 nga gipangunahan ni Monsignor Federico Mantica, uban sa aktibong partisipasyon sa mga opisyales gikan sa pito (14) ka GKK sa District 1 ug District 2.

Pinaagi sa paghatag ug panag-ambit sa matag Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban sa ilang mga best practices, mga hagit, ug mga rekomendasyon, mas napalig-on ang panaghiusa, pag-alagad, ug misyon sa Simbahan sulod sa komunidad.

Ang maong pastoral nga panagtigom natapos uban sa balaang Misa isip pagpasalamat ug paghalad sa tanang kalampusan ug paningkamot ngadto sa Ginoo. Hinaut nga magpadayon ang paggiya sa Balaang Espiritu sa matag Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban aron mahimong mas buhi ug malig-on sa atong pagtuo ug pagpangalagad sa atong simbahan.

“𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗼, 𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂, 𝘂𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗴-𝗼𝗵𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝘆𝘂𝘁𝗮.”

Karong Domingo sa Pentecostes, atong gisaulog ang pagkanaog sa Espiritu Santo ngadto sa mga apostoles, ang Espiritu nga naghatag kanila ug kaisog, kalinaw, ug kusog sa pagpahayag sa Maayong Balita. Bisan nagkalainlain ang pinulongan ug kaliwatan, gihimo silang usa pinaagi sa gugma ug gahum sa Dios.

Sama sa mga tinun-an nga napuno sa Espiritu Santo, hinaut nga mapuno usab ang atong kasingkasing sa kalayo sa pagtuo, paglaum, ug gugma alang sa isigkatawo. Sa matag kahadlok, kaluya, ug pagduhaduha, ang Espiritu Santo mao ang atong giya ug kusog.

𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬

“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:4)

Pentecost is not merely the remembrance of a moment in history. It is the living reality of the Church continually renewed by the Spirit of God.

In today’s First Reading, the Apostles, once gathered in fear behind closed doors, encountered the powerful coming of the Holy Spirit like a strong driving wind and tongues of fire. What was once fear became courage. What was once silence became proclamation. Through the Spirit, the Church was born and sent forth on mission to all nations.

Saint Paul reminds us in the Second Reading that though we are many, we are one Body in Christ, united by the same Spirit who gives different gifts for the building up of the Church. Pentecost calls us to move beyond division and become witnesses of communion, service, and love.

In the Gospel, the Risen Christ breathes upon His disciples and says, “Peace be with you. Receive the Holy Spirit.” The same breath of God that brought life at creation is now breathed upon the Church, commissioning every believer to continue Christ’s mission of mercy, reconciliation, and hope.

Today, the Holy Spirit continues to move within the Church and within each one of us. He strengthens the weary, rekindles fading faith, and sends ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary mission in the name of Christ.

May this Pentecost awaken in us a deeper zeal for evangelization, a renewed love for the Church, and the courage to proclaim Christ not only with our lips, but with our very lives.

Come, Holy Spirit, set our hearts on fire.

“Panlakaw kamo ngadto sa tanang katawhan sa tibuok kalibutan ug himoa sila nga akong mga tinun-an.” (Mt. 28:19)

Sa pagsaka ni Jesus ngadto sa langit, wala Niya biyae ang Iyang katawhan. Hinuon, gibilin Niya kanato ang misyon sa pagpadayon sa pagpakaylap sa gugma, kamatuoran, ug paglaum ngadto sa kalibutan. Ang Ginoo misaka ngadto sa Amahan, apan nagpabilin Siya uban kanato pinaagi sa Espiritu Santo ug sa matag kasingkasing nga nagtuo.

Karong adlawa, gihagit kita nga mahimong mga saksi ni Kristo, dili lamang pinaagi sa mga pulong, kundili pinaagi sa atong kinabuhi, pag-alagad, ug pagpakita sa gugma sa isigkatawo. Sama sa gisulti sa salmo:

“Misaka ang Dios sa Iyang trono uban sa mga singgit sa kalipay.”

Sa World Communications Sunday, hinaut nga magamit nato ang komunikasyon aron magdala ug kahayag, paglaum, ug maayong balita ngadto sa uban. Padayon ta sa pagtan-aw ngadto sa langit, apan labaw sa tanan, magpadayon usab ta sa paglakaw uban sa misyon nga gisalig sa Ginoo kanato.

Kagahapong adlawa, ang Pulong sa Dios nag-awhag kanato sa pagpabilin diha sa gugma ug kasugoan sa Ginoo. Sa Ebanghelyo, giingon ni Jesus: “Kon nahigugma kamo Kanako, tumanon ninyo ang Akong mga sugo.” Usa kini ka pahinumdom nga ang tinuod nga gugma sa Dios makita sa atong matinud-anong pagsunod ug pagkinabuhi diha sa gugma.

Ang pagkabanhaw ni Cristo nagdala og bag-ong kinabuhi ug kalipay. Busa bisan sa mga pagsulay, padayon kitang mosalig ug mopuyo nga puno sa gugma, kay ang Espiritu Santo nag-uban ug naggiya kanato matag adlaw.
