Yesterday, November 19, 2022, Saturday, as part of the YSA organization's activity, the YSA Compostela branch held an activity called "RE-ACTIVATION; "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God" (Doctrine and Covenant 18:10).
During His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ spent His time serving and assisting others.
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” the Savior said (John 13:35).
“When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God. …
“And if I, whom ye call your king, do labor to serve you, then ought not ye to labor to serve one another?” (Mosiah 2:17–18).
When we help one another, we serve God. There are many ways to serve. Because if we love each other, we will bear each other's burdens. We are eager to help them regardless of our income, age, or social standing. And this will develop Christlike characteristics as a result of our genuine love for the Savior, as well as our love and concern for those to whom He provides opportunities and guidance. Love is more than a feeling; when we love someone, we are willing to go to any length to help them.
Jesus said, “I am among you as he that serveth” (Luke 22:27). As true disciples of Jesus, we must also serve others. We can perform both small and large acts of service.
