Jail Ministry

We thank the Lord for the opportunity to visit Cebu City Jail and share the Gospel and the Word of God.

Led by Pastor Jose Ugsimar, together with Pastor Mark Anthony Romeo from Leyte, and other men who faithfully and courageously commit themselves to the work of the Lord.

This is more than a weekly visit—it is a ministry of reaching souls, strengthening the brethren, and standing firm in the work God has entrusted to us. May we continue to serve with courage, faith, and a willing heart.

Prayer Meeting | August 5, 2026

We thank the Lord for a blessed prayer meeting last Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Smyrna Baptist Bible Church.

We were grateful to have Pastor Rhandy Pasion, Missionary to Kazakhstan, with us as he shared the work of God and the ministry in Kazakhstan. It was a blessing and encouragement to hear how the Lord is working through missions in a foreign land.

Pastor Rhandy is sent out by Evangel Light Baptist Church, Balacad, Laoag City, Philippines 2900, under the leadership of his sending pastor, Rev. Camilo Galano Jr.

May this remind us that missions is not only about going—it is also about praying, giving, and faithfully supporting those whom God has called to serve in foreign fields. Let us continue to lift up our missionaries in prayer and be a blessing to them as they faithfully serve the Lord.

May we never forget to pray for our missionaries and the souls they are reaching for Christ. To God be all the glory!

Smyrna Baptist Bible Church Anniversary Celebration

July 26, 2026 | Sunday

With grateful hearts, we praise and thank God for His faithfulness throughout the years. We are delighted to share the highlights of our church anniversary celebration—a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We were greatly blessed by the preaching of God's Word through our guest speaker, Pastor Felomino Jun Ambo. We thank the Lord for using His servant to encourage and challenge us to remain steadfast in our faith and service.
