HEART PAUSE!
Pause. Reflect. Be still in His presence.

โ€œ๐€๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ค๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก.โ€

There are moments when we feel empty, when our faith feels small, our courage runs low, and our hearts grow tired.

In those moments, we are reminded that strength was never meant to come from us alone. It is in our weakness that God shows us who truly sustains us.

The Bible says, โ€œBut He said to me, โ€˜My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weaknessโ€™โ€ (2 Corinthians 12:9).

When we have nothing left to give, Godโ€™s grace meets us right where we are. We donโ€™t have to be strong all the time; we only have to trust the One who is.

Our weakness becomes an invitation for Godโ€™s power to work in us. And when we lean fully on Him, we discover that even in our lowest moments, we are never alone, because God is our strength.

Pause. Reflect. Be still in His presence.

Ephesians 3:20
โ€œNow to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.โ€

Minsan, nililimitahan natin si God base sa kaya lang nating isipin o hilingin. We pray with boundaries, dahil iyon lang ang kaya ng pananampalataya natin. Pero pinapaalala sa atin ng verse na ito na si God ay hindi nakakulong sa limits ng ating pang-unawa.

He is able, hindi lang able, kundi exceedingly abundantly able. Ibig sabihin, kahit hindi natin makita ang paraan, kahit feeling natin imposible, may kapangyarihan si God na gumawa nang higit pa sa inaasahan natin.

Ang mas nakakabigla pa? Ang kapangyarihang iyon ay gumagawa sa atin. Hindi lang Siya kumikilos sa paligid natin, He works within us. Kapag tayoโ€™y nagtitiwala, sumusuko, at nagpapagamit sa Kanya, nagiging daluyan tayo ng Kanyang gawa.

Today, let us pause and ask ourselves: Am I limiting God with my doubts? Or am I trusting Him fully, kahit hindi ko pa nakikita ang sagot?

Let us surrender our small faith to a big God, because He is able to do more than we can ever imagine.

Proverbs 3:5โ€“6 calls us to surrender, not just our plans, but also our doubts, fears, and uncertainties. Faith isnโ€™t about having all the answers; itโ€™s about trusting Godโ€™s guidance.

When we acknowledge Him in every step, every decision, and every season, He faithfully directs our path.

His ways are always better than ours.

Today, letโ€™s choose to trust Him fully, knowing He will make our path straight according to His perfect will.

Together, let us stand firm in our calling. We are called to believe in Christ, to belong to the body of Christ, and to become Christlike in our daily lives.

This is our identity. This is our mission. This is our faith.

A Historic Celebration of Faith and Unity

The Celebration of National Baptist Day held on January 8, 2026 at the Municipal Covered Court, LGUโ€“Claveria, Masbate marked a significant milestone, not only for the Baptist community, but for the entire Island of Burias.

With over 800 attendees, this yearโ€™s gathering became the first-ever National Baptist Day celebration held on the Island of Burias, making it a truly historic moment of faith, fellowship, and thanksgiving.

More than a commemoration, National Baptist Day honors the establishment and enduring mission of the Baptist Church in the Philippines, celebrating its commitment to evangelism, Christian education, moral formation, and nation-building. It is a reminder of how faith continues to shape lives, families, and communities.

From worship and praise to unity in fellowship, this celebration stood as a powerful testimony of Godโ€™s grace and the growing strength of the Christian movement in Masbate.
