The Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana, was founded in the early 1950s by Bishop Frank Munsey and his wife, Pastor Ruth Munsey (originally named the Evangelistic Temple).Founders: Bishop Frank Munsey and Pastor Ruth Munsey.Current Leadership: Their son, Pastor Steve Munsey, serves as the senior pastor alongside his wife, Melodye.

● Latin o Roman Rite (Roman Catholic)
● Maronite Church
● Coptic Catholic Church
● Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
● Syro-Malabar Church

Magkakaiba man sila ng:
● paraan ng Misa
● traditions
● chants
● vestments
● liturgy

iisa pa rin sila ng:
● pananampalataya
● Sakramento

“May isang katawan at isang Espiritu…”
Epistle to the Ephesians 4:4

At sinabi rin ni Jesus:
“Magkakaroon ng isang kawan at isang pastol.”
Gospel of John 10:16

BRIEF TOPIC TO ALL WHO DON'T KNOW 👇

Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church during his earthly ministry around 33 AD, establishing Saint Peter as its first leader.

The Catholic Perspective

Divine Institution: The Catholic Church teaches that Jesus personally established the church upon Saint Peter, whom he named the "rock" in Matthew 16:18.

Apostolic Succession: Catholics believe Jesus gave authority to his twelve apostles, whose successors are modern bishops, with the Pope acting as the direct successor to Peter.

Early Usage: The term "catholic" (meaning universal) was applied to the early Christian church by St. Ignatius of Antioch around 107 AD.

Historical and Ecumenical Perspectives

Mixed Views on Origin: Opinions differ widely, as historians and other Christian denominations view the institutionalized Roman Catholic Church as developing gradually over the first few centuries rather than being fully formed in 33 AD.

Broader Christian Consensus: While most Christians agree that Jesus laid the spiritual foundations for the church, non-Catholic traditions argue that Christ founded a universal spiritual body of believers rather than a specific centralized earthly hierarchy.

Good morning to everyone.

St. Agatha of Sicily is traditionally believed to have been martyred on February 5, 251 AD, during the persecution of Christians under the Roman Emperor Decius.

Name: St. Agatha of Sicily
Martyrdom: February 5, 251 AD
Place: Catania, Sicily
Persecutor: Traditionally associated with the Roman governor Quintianus
Feast day: February 5

She is remembered as a virgin and martyr who remained faithful to Christ despite torture and persecution.

WHY WAS SHE CROWNED?

The word "crowning" can easily be misunderstood.

Catholics are not worshiping the relic or the statue.

The crown is a symbolic expression of honor given to the saint because she is recognized as a martyr and a witness to Christ.

In Christian symbolism, the crown also recalls the "crown of life" promised to those who remain faithful.

"Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life." - Revelation 2:10

Therefore, the ceremony points beyond Agatha herself. Her crown ultimately reminds Christians of Christ, for whom she gave her life.

St. Agatha, Pray for us.🙏✝
