ARE YOU A TRUE WORSHIPPER?

Youth Night was a beautiful reminder that true worship is not just about what we sing—it’s about who we surrender our lives to.

“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24

Let’s not just be worshippers in church. Let’s be worshippers everywhere we go. 🙌🏻

HAVE FAITH IN GOD | MARK 11:20–24

There are moments in life when circumstances seem impossible—when the problem is too big, the answer seems too far away, our strength is insufficient, and the future is uncertain.

But Jesus gives us a simple and powerful command:

“Have faith in God.” — Mark 11:22

Faith does not mean pretending that the mountain isn't there. Faith recognizes the mountain, but chooses to believe that God is greater than the mountain.

When Joshua and the Israelites stood before Jericho, the city was fortified and seemingly impossible to conquer. Yet God asked them to obey before they could see the victory. Sometimes, obedience feels like nothing is happening. But faith obeys God even when the result is not yet visible.

Every believer will face a “mountain”—financial difficulties, family problems, ministry challenges, discouragement, opposition, fear, or spiritual battles. But the presence of a mountain does not mean God has abandoned us.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” — Jeremiah 32:27

Faith looks beyond what we can see and looks toward who God is.

And sometimes God removes the mountain. Sometimes He gives us strength to climb it. Paul prayed for his thorn to be removed, but God answered:

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

That is mature faith—not demanding that God do exactly what we want, but trusting that God is able, God is wise, and God’s will is always worth trusting.

And faith leads us to prayer.

When we believe that God is able, we don't carry our burdens alone. We bring them to Him. We pray with confidence, we trust His will, we continue praying when the answer hasn't come, and we experience His peace while we wait.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” — Mark 11:24

Jesus did not say, “Have faith in yourself.”

He said, “Have faith in God.”

Your strength can fail.
Your plans can fail.
People can fail.
Circumstances can change.

But God does not fail.

So when you face your next mountain, don't ask first, “How can I overcome this?”

Ask instead:

“What can God do?”

Faith does not make God bigger.
Faith helps us see how big God already is.
