IN PHOTOS ||UBFC's Wednesday service: A fresh start as the second semester commences.

The word of the Lord last morning was in Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. "

This is a very timely reminder for all of us. As we commence the second semester of our academic journey, this verse serves as a profound reminder of the Lord's caring nature.

In this second semester of our academic endeavor, may we learn to recognize that God understands the weight we carry, and through trust and faith, we can find solace in His promise of rest. In the hustle of academic pursuits, let's always take a moment to lean on His support, finding strength to face challenges and peace for our restless hearts.

Remember: Turning to Him provides a refuge for our spirit.

In a resounding crescendo of joy and gratitude, the campus resonated with melodies of praise during the first campus praise and worship session, skillfully led by the UBFC Praise and Worship Team. As students raised their voices in harmonious unity, the atmosphere reverberated with sincere thanks to the Lord for the precious opportunity to conclude the first semester of the academic year with heartfelt worship and thanksgiving. It was a moment where the campus community, amidst the challenges and triumphs of the semester, came together to express profound gratitude for the journey thus far.

This joyous occasion owes its existence to the benevolence of the campus director, Dr. Roxanne P. Altea, whose visionary leadership and approval paved the way for this memorable experience. Special thanks are also extended to the Supreme Student Government (SSG) for their instrumental role in providing the chance and opportunity for this soul-stirring event, reinforcing the sense of community, and sharing moments of grace that define the essence of Christmas. Yesterday, the UBFC President, Richard Escabas, together with two officers from the organization, Angelica Suello and Richel Ann Lungay, attended the oath-taking ceremony, leadership training, seminar, and team-building program with a theme of "Unleashing Potential: Empowering Together," held at Bung-aw Eco Farm.

The said activity aimed to equip everyone with the character, knowledge, and skills a leader must possess. Indeed, it is a very helpful activity in shaping and molding everyone to become a better leader, not just in school but in society and the world as a whole.
