On October 13, 2025, the worship service of Amicus held at the College of Medicine Plenary Room 2. The gathering centered on the theme โThe Identity of Christโ and featured an inspiring reflection shared by Pastor Daniel Mortel. The session began with praise and worship led by student members, creating an atmosphere of reverence, unity, and faith.
In his message, Pastor Mortel emphasized the importance of understanding oneโs identity as created in the image of God. He explained that being made in Godโs image signifies the divine imprint within every person โ a call to live with purpose, righteousness, compassion, and integrity. This identity reminds believers that their value is not defined by worldly measures, but by their relationship with God and their capacity to reflect His character in their actions and relationships. By embracing the image of God, individuals are invited to renew their hearts and align their lives with Christโs example of love, humility, and service.
The reflection served as a meaningful reminder for everyone present that to identify with Christ is to live out the divine nature placed within each person. The worship concluded with a prayer and a song of commitment, leaving the students spiritually strengthened and motivated to embody the image of God in their daily lives.
