GOOD SOLDIER OF CHRIST 🫡

Last Saturday, in a joint fellowship with Youth Ablaze, Ptr. Steven Dime shared to us 2 Timothy 2:3-4 where Paul talked to Timothy about being a good soldier of Christ - enduring the difficult Christian life alongside other followers of Jesus; avoiding getting entangled with the many different pleasures of this world that can take our time away from God; and seeking to please our one and only commanding officer - our Almighty God ✨

May this be our daily reminder of the discipline we should have as Christians. Indeed, everyday is a battle, and every place is a battlefield! 💣

2 Timothy 2:3-4 "Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled with civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer."

Rainy Cell Group Session at Imazen 🌧️

Last Saturday, we talked about Galatians 6:1-5 which is a call to bear each other's burdens, specifically one that we tend to sway away from - the burden of sin. This call also came with a warning regarding the temptation of pride that may come to us as we confront our brothers and sisters' sin.

It was a very fun discussion filled with insights and wisdom on how we can better restore someone - but definitely, it's all about relying on the Holy Spirit to produce to us the spirit of gentleness ☁️, that we may rebuke our brother/sister out of love and in humility 💕

Our young adults fellowship is held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at 6PM. Please send us a PM and join us 🤗

That evening, we discussed Jesus Christ's Resurrection and the victory we have in Him! His resurrection is our assurance that we too shall be resurrected on the day God appointed. Hence, we are alive! Jesus overcame death ✨
