A MESSAGE FROM THE FORMATION DIRECTOR OF OUR COMMUNITY, FR. LOUBERT AGDUYENG AND SOME SHOTS TAKEN BY OUR CAVISA FRIENDS (CTTO)

Blessed Sunday ka BEST ta!!!

The 3-day event is over!!! Apo Baket is homebound. It was not only full of fun. It was full of prayer moments and encounter. Every visit is a moment of blessing shared in the name of love. Apo Baket keeps the lead of being a model of loving beyond measure, of sharing without expecting in return. May she remain not only an image but a life of giving witness to the love of a gracious Mother.

On behalf of the Our Lady Piat Formation Community, I wish to express our sincerest gratitude to you for your unending support. You are our family. You are our co-journeyers. You are our benefactors of prayers. Thank you for your presence and participation. You made the event succesful and prayerful. Thank you for sharing your time, talents and treasures. We assure you of our prayers. Please continue sharing your blessings to us just as Apo Baket shares her blessings upon you. May God whose generosity knows no bound bless you abundantly.

Apo Baket, Virgen ti Piat, ibabaetnakami!!!

The Blessing of Throats, celebrated on the feast of St. Blaise (February 3), reminds us that God cares not only for our souls but also for our bodies.
St. Blaise was a bishop and martyr known for his compassion. Tradition tells us that he healed a child who was choking, and because of this, the Church asks for his intercession for protection against illnesses of the throat and all sickness.
When the priest places the crossed candles near our throat, we pray for three things:
✨ Healing – that God may protect us from illness and restore us to health.
✨ Right speech – that our words may bless, not harm; heal, not wound.
✨ Witness – that we may courageously profess our faith, even when it is difficult.
This blessing reminds us that our voice is a gift from God:
to pray, to proclaim the Gospel, and to speak truth in love.
πŸ•ŠοΈ May the Lord bless our throats, our words, and our lives, through the intercession of St. Blaise.

Wednesday Gospel Reflections

Let us listen to Sem. Joshua Addun as he shares his insights and reflections on today's gospel.

Gospel
Luke 17:11-19
Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?
As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voice, saying, β€œJesus, Master! Have pity on us!” And when he saw them, he said, β€œGo show yourselves to the priests.” As they were going they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, β€œTen were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Then he said to him, β€œStand up and go; your faith has saved you.”
