Last October 28, the St. Agnes School community came together as one family to celebrate the Culmination of the Holy Rosary. Students, teachers, and staff gathered at the school grounds to pray the Holy Rosary with faith and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

Everyone prayed solemnly, offering their intentions and thanksgiving to Mary for her love and protection. The Campus Ministry officers and selected students led the rosary, while the whole community joined in with sincerity and reverence.

After the prayer, a Holy Mass followed, presided by Rev. Fr. Constancio Kho, SVD. In his homily, he reminded everyone about the importance of prayer and trusting God through the intercession of Mama Mary.

The celebration ended with songs of praise to Our Lady of the Rosary. It was a simple but meaningful day that strengthened the faith and unity of the St. Agnes School family.

September 13, 2025, our Campus Ministry members joined the Jubilee Youth Celebration (Vicarial Celebration) held at San Jose, Sta. Cruz with the theme โ€œAgtutubo: Mangisakit iti Sangaparsuaanโ€ (Youth: Caring for Creation). It was a day filled with prayer, joy, and teamwork as young people from different parishes came together to celebrate our faith and our mission as youth in the Church.

One of the lines that inspired us during the celebration was: โ€œDo not be afraid to be saints of today, the Church hopes in you, and God lives in you.โ€ These words reminded us that sainthood is not something distant, it begins in our daily lives, in the way we love, serve, and care for the people and the world around us.

This message connects with the Season of Creation that we are also celebrating this month. God has given us this beautiful world, and as young people, we are called to take care of it. Being โ€œsaints of todayโ€ doesnโ€™t mean doing big or extraordinary things. Sometimes, itโ€™s as simple as showing kindness, helping others, and protecting the environment in small but meaningful ways.

The Jubilee Youth Celebration made us realize how important our role is as young members of the Church. We are not just the โ€œfutureโ€ of the Church, we are already part of it now. By caring for creation and living out our faith with love and responsibility, we make Godโ€™s presence alive in the world today.

Campus Ministry Joins the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the SVD Anniversary

Last September 8, 2025, our Campus Ministry joined the celebration of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Holy Child of Prague Parish. The Holy Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Ronilo T. Borja, SVD. and Rev. Fr. Constancio Kho, SVD.

The celebration was very meaningful because aside from honoring Mama Maryโ€™s birthday, it was also the anniversary of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), founded by St. Arnold Janssen. We were reminded that just like Mama Mary who said โ€œyesโ€ to God, the SVD missionaries also continue to say โ€œyesโ€ in bringing the Word of God to many people around the world.

In his homily, Fr. Borja reminded us that Maryโ€™s birth was a sign of hope, because through her, Jesus our Savior was born. As the Bible says, โ€œMy soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviorโ€ (Luke 1:46โ€“47).

As students, it was inspiring to be part of this celebration. We realized that even in our own simple ways, we are called to serve, to say โ€œyesโ€ to God, and to live with faith and humility every day.

Campus Ministry Attends the Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption and the Elevation of Sta. Maria Parish as Minor Basilica

Last August 15, 2025, members of the Campus Ministry were blessed to take part in the grand celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption and the historic elevation of Sta. Maria Parish into a Minor Basilica. This solemn and joy-filled event was a testament to the deep faith and devotion of the community, honoring Mary as our Mother and intercessor.

It was such a meaningful experience to be part of this celebration. The whole event was filled with prayer, songs of praise, and the strong presence of faith from the community. Being there reminded us how Maryโ€™s Assumption is truly a source of hopeโ€”that just as she is united with God, we too are called to live faithfully and walk towards that same destiny.

We are grateful to have witnessed this milestone and to carry the inspiration it gave us. May this experience guide us in serving with love, faith, and joy, just as our Blessed Mother showed us. โค

From planning to action! โœ… Officers collaborated to finalize the plan for the Pre-Orientation Program, followed by a successful implementation for our Campus Ministry.

The Pre-Orientation, held on August 8, 2025, aimed to:

โ€ข Introduce the common functions, which include Spiritual Formation, Community Building, Worship and Liturgy, Pastoral Care, and Outreach Services.
โ€‹
โ€ข Familiarize the team with our regular activities, such as Holy Masses, Bible Sharing, Spiritual Symposiums, Retreats and Recollections, and Social Events.
โ€‹
โ€ข Spiritually prepare the team for their role as student ministers and servant leaders.

First, we thank God for this successful pre-orientation program.

Second, we thank our Parish Priest/School Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Ronilo Borja, SVD, for introducing the common functions of the ministry.

Third, we thank our School Principal, Sr. Necitas C. Catalino, SIHM, and Sr. Sabina Macario, SIHM, for supporting the ministry.

Lastly, we thank the students who participated and joined the ministry. Although we are small in numbers, remember: โ€œFor where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I in the midst of them.โ€ โ€” Matthew 18:20.

God bless us all! โค๏ธ
