INTROIBO AD ALTARE DEI | With hearts full of joy, on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, 15 Aspirants have been installed and invested with the alb as new members of the Ministry of Altar Servers.

We thank the Lord for giving us the grace to serve at His altar and experience His healing power through Him being the Word and the Eucharist.

The Batch of 2026 was given St. John the Baptist as their batch patron since their installation happened on May 31, the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, although it is not being celebrated this year because the solemnities which honor the Blessed Trinity takes precedence.

May you find joy in serving the altar of Our Lord. Congratulations, brothers!

VENI SANCTE SPIRITUS | After the last Mass of the Solemnity of the Pentecost, the Paschal Candle was brought to the baptistry and the simple snuffing of the candle was done, symbolizing that the Easter Season has come to an end.

After Easter, the Paschal Candle will only be lit during the Rites of Baptism and the Funeral Masses, for the Light of Christ is present at the beginning and at the end of our pilgrimage here on earth, and even in the life beyond this world.

ππ„ππ“π„π‚πŽπ’π“ π’π”ππƒπ€π˜ | On 24th of May 2026 the Church celebrates Pentecost the birthday of our Catholic faith. Fifty days after Easter, the Holy Spirit descended upon Mary and the Apostles as tongues of fire. Suddenly, they were empowered to speak boldly, heal, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations. That same Spirit is alive in us today in the sacraments, in Confirmation, in every whispered prayer.

Let’s invoke for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit’s seven gifts: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.

"Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind coming where they were sitting, alleluia: and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking the wonderful works of God, alleluia, alleluia." (Communion, Acts 2:2,4)
