Our parish joyfully anticipates the upcoming visit of Nuestra Señora de Regla all the way from her National Shrine. This is in line with the celebration of the 𝑽𝑰𝑺𝑰𝑻𝑨 𝑺𝑬Ñ𝑶𝑹𝑨 2026 in preparation for her forthcoming Patronal Fiesta this November.

Today, we celebrate Saint Louis IX, King of France, who governed with justice, humility, and deep Christian faith. He cared greatly for the poor, promoted peace, built churches, and lived a life centered on prayer and charity despite the responsibilities of kingship.

His example proves that holiness is possible in every vocation. May we seek to serve God faithfully in all our duties with integrity and compassion.

His steadfast witness helped spread Christianity throughout the early world. May we imitate his courage by boldly sharing our faith with others.

AUGUST 23 | Saint Rose of Lima

Today, we celebrate Saint Rose of Lima, Virgin and the first canonized saint of the Americas, who devoted her life to prayer, penance, and caring for the poor. She is also recognized as the Secondary Patroness of the Philippines alongside Saint Pudentiana, as declared by Pope Pius XII in 1942. Though she endured many hardships, she remained joyful in her love for Christ and offered her sufferings for the salvation of souls.

Her hidden life became a radiant witness of holiness. May her example encourage us to seek holiness through humble service and faithful prayer.
