THE PRAYER MEETING
There are two or three special matters in the prayer meeting which the brothers should pay attention to.

BE SHORT
First, tell all the brothers who pray to learn to be short. Ten out of ten prayer meetings are ruined by long prayers. In the prayer meeting everyone should learn to pray in a short way. For the prayer meeting to have power and be strong, the prayer has to be short. Long prayers are often padded with many empty words.

BE GENUINE
Second, we must warn the brothers and sisters that the words of their prayer in the prayer meeting must be honest. Warn the brothers and sisters that their prayer in their own personal prayer time and their prayer in the prayer meeting should not differ too greatly. Learn to be real. Many prayers in the prayer meeting are indeed not genuine. Do not let some brothers or sisters make prayer a kind of preaching of the truth nor let them give an intelligence report to God. Charge the brothers to learn to pray short prayers and to pray genuinely. These are the basic requirements of a prayer meeting. Speak only the words that you have. Do not go beyond what is genuine.

THE TOPIC NEEDING TO BE FOCUSED
Third, those who are caring for the church in various localities must make a decision concerning the topics of prayer in the prayer meeting. We need to learn to do this one thing: Never allow the brothers to pray as they see fit. As a result, our prayer meetings are almost powerless. Without the one accord, how could God listen?

Therefore, the prayer meeting in various localities must also be completely changed. The items for prayer need to be determined, but not necessarily determined beforehand. From beginning to end, the church should pray for this one matter, with everyone bringing this matter to God. A real prayer meeting will be like this.
In a prayer meeting we must pray specifically with one accord. The responsible brothers should say, “Today we must pray specifically for this one matter.” Everyone then prays for this one matter.

Do not mention other matters. After three or five prayers, you have to see whether the burden is discharged or not. If you feel that you should still pray for that matter, let them continue to pray. If the burden is gone, while the brothers are still sitting there or kneeling, a responsible brother should announce another item. Then the prayers of all the brothers and sisters will be on this topic. Therefore, in the meeting the responsible brothers should learn before God to guide this meeting. The spirit of the responsible brothers must be open and sensitive. Perhaps there are times when you still need to continue praying. At any rate, after the first matter is finished, the second matter can be brought in. If the burden is finished, you should then rise up immediately to announce the next item.

Always pray with a focus so that God’s children can pray with one accord. I think that this is a very crucial matter. Many prayer meetings are not strong because there are too many topics.

In our experience, there is only Christ. He does not give us the light; He is our light. He does not lead us to a way; He is our way. He does not give us life; He is our life. He does not teach us to understand a truth; He is the truth. Brothers, do you see the difference? All that God has given us is Christ Himself.

Once God took away the things and matters of the world from you. Now he is taking away spiritual things and matters from you. He will take away your patience, your love, your power, your meekness, your humility, and everything that you have. He will show you that you do not live by patience but by a person.

Brothers, God will take away many “things” from you; He will only give you One; He will only give you a person.

SATAN'S TACTICS
We cannot tell how many mental cases there are in today's society; they are innumerable. This condition is not only a kind of mental illness, but it is also the subtle work of Satan. Satan is so subtle today. He is doing whatever he can to damage the mentality of man.

SATAN'S TARGET
Satan's main target today is the young people. There are more mental cases among the young people than ever before. He does not care so much for the older generation, but he seeks to destroy the young people.

Do you believe that the mentality of the younger generation today is sound? I would say that it is absolutely unhealthy. Their way of thinking is altogether dangerous.

THE FIRST ISSUE: FORNICATION
The issue of this kind of mental damage is of three categories. The first is fornication.

THE SECOND ISSUE: SU***DE
The second issue of the devilish concepts indoctrinated into young people's minds is to commit su***de.

THE THIRD ISSUE: MENTAL ILLNESS
The third issue of the indoctrination of devilish concepts is mental illness.
We all must pray and stand against such subtlety of the enemy. Satan's whole purpose is to damage humanity so that man cannot be used for God's purpose.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR LOVE?

Every human being is created with the capacity to love and to be loved. Love is a human virtue. This is because every human being is made in the image of God and the Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8, 16). The very nature of God’s being and God’s essence is love. Although someone may have told you that they love you or that they are in love with you, no one can say that they are love. Only God Himself is love.

Where there is love, there must also be the object of that love. The Bible shows us that God is love, and also shows us that God loves the world (John 3:16). God is love and He cannot help but love man. Human love may change. One moment we love, and the next moment we hate, even when we do not want to. But with God, there is no change. God’s love never grows cold. God loves man no matter how much we reject Him, test Him, or deny Him. God is still love.

And this is not all. Not only has God loved us, but He has also sent forth His love (1 John 4:9-10). If there is love, it must be expressed. The book of Romans in the Bible tells us that “God commends His own love to us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). We are sinners who need to be saved, and we cannot save ourselves. But God loved us. Because God is love and because man has sinned, God put all our sins upon Christ and dealt with our problem of sin. When we see Christ’s death on the cross, we see the expression of God’s love in a very sweet way.

God’s desire is that we would respond to His love by loving Him in return. God loved us first (1 John 4:19) and today He wants to touch our heart with His heart (Hosea 11:4). The heart is very special. It does not respond to thinking, it must be touched by love. Although it seems like our heart always loves something other than God, when we read the Bible we realise that God wants our heart and our love, and has done everything necessary in order to reach us with His love.

To turn your heart to God and to receive Him as love, just pray this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for reaching me with Your love.
I believe You died for me on the cross and rose again to be my life.
Come into me. I give You my heart and I give You my love.
