𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 𝟓 | 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲

Easter Sunday is the glorious culmination of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ—the very heart of our faith. From the silence of the tomb, He rises in victory over sin and death, opening for us the promise of eternal life.

In His Resurrection, sorrow turns to hope and defeat into triumph. As Catholics, this day is not only a celebration but a renewal—a call to rise with Christ, to live in conversion, and to carry out His mission to love, forgive, and serve.

Christ remains with us—in the Sacraments and in every act of love we choose each day.

Let us rejoice, for He has risen! Alleluia!

𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 𝟒 | 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲

Black Saturday, also known as Holy Saturday, is a day of stillness—caught between the sorrow of the Cross and the joy of the Resurrection. It is the day we remember how Jesus lay in the tomb, a quiet pause after the suffering He endured for our sake.

In this silence, we are invited to reflect. Like the disciples, we may find ourselves in moments of uncertainty, grief, or waiting—unsure of what comes next. Yet Black Saturday reminds us that even in the darkest and quietest moments, God is still at work.

Today is a time for prayer, for trust, and for hopeful anticipation. As we wait in stillness, we prepare our hearts for the light of Easter—holding on to the promise that after every darkness, new life will come.

𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 𝟑 | 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲

Good Friday is a day of mourning, as we remember the passion and death of Jesus Christ—who, within a single day, was betrayed, denied, condemned, mocked, and crucified. He endured it all willingly, out of His boundless love for us.

Like Peter, we too deny and turn away from Him, especially in moments of fear and hardship. Yet even then, Christ remains faithful, never letting us go.

As we reflect on His sacrifice, may we repent from our sins and trust in His mercy—the same love that, through the Cross, brought us salvation.

𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 𝟐 | 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲

Today, we begin the sacred Paschal Triduum, entering into the mystery of Christ’s love made fully visible.

On this night, we remember the Last Supper—when Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood—and the Washing of the Feet, a powerful sign of humble service. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “commandment,” echoing His call: “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)

In these acts, Christ shows us that true greatness is found in self-giving love—served in humility, shared in communion, and fulfilled on the Cross.

As we journey through the Triduum, may we not only remember His love, but live it—freely given, faithfully shared, and poured out for others.

Ralph, our color head for the upcoming National Convention, is known for his vibrant and outgoing personality. But who is he to those closest to him in FCCY? We asked—and here’s what they shared:

"Ralph, my friend, may be known as someone who talks a lot, but what people don’t always see is how deeply he listens, even to the most nonsensical things, and how genuinely accommodating he is. I feel incredibly blessed to have someone like him in my life. ❤️"

"Ahia Ralph is the person whom you can depend on with everything — hosting events, giving talks, and in Church (choir, lector) ++ masarap siya magluto legit! He is creative, dependable, optimistic, and passionate in everything he does. I'm so glad he's the first person I've been close with in FCCY. Happiest birthday 🫀"

"Ralph has become a lamp that lights the path of young people leading them to God. Whenever I see him serving, I see hope for the future of our Church."

"When I think of who best encapsulates what an FCCYer should be, Ralph is the person who comes to mind. His dedication, bravery, and all-around skills are just some of the many things I admire about him. Isa rin siyang napakabuting kaibigan na handa kang ipagtanggol kapag may bumangga sa'yo."

"Ralph's like a walking pogo stick. Magulat ka nalang na kung saan-saan siya nakakapunta out of nowhere. Sobrang extroverted niya with kids pero hindi alam ng ibang tao na very emotional din niya. When he sees people after a long time, bigla nalang siya naiiyak. Even when he fails, iiyak lang siya then tatayo siya ulit to do it again hanggang mag-succeed siya. He has been a star in FCCY, a star that will always shine kahit sobra dilim na ng sky."
