Me and my wife are simply grateful to God for this new song from Sovereign Grace. What a beautiful way to celebrate four years of His faithful, sovereign grace that has sustained and carried us every step of the way in this journey as married couple.

Lord, it is our lingering prayer that You may always lead our hearts back to the cross each day as we continue to walk with You.

Hereโ€™s a short clip of our cover, from the bridge to the chorus. We pray it encourages you as much as it has encouraged us.

Earlier this morning, my heart was just compelled to sing this song during my devotional. Lately, I have been seeing reels as to the reason why โ€œHEART OF WORSHIPโ€ was composed. Made my own version of this. Please read on every lines while you finish on watching this video until the end. To Him be all glory!

Joining the 2016 trend

The first photo was taken at 2016 during the wedding of Te Suseth and Kuya Joash where Miky and I stood side by side as Candle sponsors. Until now, I still donโ€™t know why they chose usโ€”we were just very kiddos (char!) back then. Maybe there was simply no one else to stand? LOL. Hahaha!

Unknowingly, this same man beside me that day would one day be the one I would walk hand in hand with for the rest of my lifeโ€”until our last breath, until God calls us home.

What an incredible grace and blessing!

Last year, while on a prenup shoot, I was drawn in by the beauty of this mountain, and the song โ€œ๐™„๐™ฃ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™‘๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™ฎโ€by Sovereign Grace kept playing in my mind.

In real life, a It is shaped over time by flowing water and natural forces. Valleys are often ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€ where rivers pass through, soil becomes fertile, and life is sustained. Though they sit lower than the surrounding land, valleys are not empty or uselessโ€”they are ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„๐˜๐—ต ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—น๐˜† ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€.

In the same way, the valleys in our lives may feel low, hidden, or overlooked, yet they are often w๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ.

Throughout the Bible, valleys carry strong deep meaning. They often represent seasons of hardship, waiting, sorrow, or uncertainty. Yet Scripture never presents the valley as a place where God abandons His people.

In Psalm 23:4, David declares:

Notice the word through. Valleys are temporary, and Godโ€™s presence never leaves us while we walk through them.

In Ezekiel 37, God brings life to a valley filled with dry bonesโ€”showing us that ๐—ป๐—ผ ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ผ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ, ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ผ ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ป, ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ผ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—›๐—ถ๐—บ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ.

These seasons can feel heavy and confusing. You may ask God why the valley is necessary or how long it will last.

It is where prayer becomes more earnest, faith is strengthened, and our dependence on God grows stronger.

This promise includes the valley. God wastes nothing. Every tear, every delay, and every struggle is seen by Him and woven into His greater purpose--for HIS glory and for OUR GOOD.

Often, it is in the valley that God shapes our character, deepens our faith, and prepares us for what lies ahead--His greater calling.

The valley is not your final destination. God promises strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Just a raw video on my gallery. No cut, no noise reduction, no edits.

One of my most cherished moments to revisit on my phone from Sammy and Sparkโ€™s wedding.

The bride (Sam) stands in quiet grace, flanked by her loving parents, waiting for the groomโ€™s (Spark) arrival. With eager hearts, they gently place their daughter into the hands of the man she will marryโ€”slowly stepping back, leaving her wrapped in love. The groom, filled with excitement, reaches for her, holding her hands and pulling her into an embrace as if the world has paused just for them. Together, he leads her forward, where the officiating pastor awaits and their forever begins.

Just like that sacred moment at the wedding, Scripture paints a greater story.

The Church stands as the bride, clothed in grace, patiently waiting for her Groom. The Father, with perfect love, prepares and presents her, shaping her through seasons of waiting and becoming. When Jesus, the Bridegroom, comes, He does not hesitateโ€”He reaches out with joy, takes her hand, and draws her close, embracing her with a love that redeems and restores. Then, He gently leads her forward, toward eternal union, where promises are fulfilled, no more fears, no more tears.
