UVCM MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY

On February 13, 2026, old and new members gathered for prayer, fellowship, and service. The program kicked off with an opening prayer, followed by a warm welcoming message from Ate Lhea, the Campus Minister. Bro. Hallasgo Gumban, a Visayanian alumnus and former campus ministry volunteer, then shared an inspiring talk about his service experiences and how living the Lord's ministry values transformed his life.

Next came a fun "Get to Know You with a Twist" activity, sparking lots of memories in a short time. The group enjoyed religious song jamming and Bible sharing before wrapping up with grace at the 5:30 p.m. Holy Mass at Basilica Minore del Santo Niño.

VIA CRUCIS

In solemn observance of Lenten season, a Stations of the Cross was held today at 3:00 p.m. in the Quadrangle. Everyone walked with Jesus Christ through his suffering, Passion, and death on the cross. As the Bible says, "It is finished" (John 19:30), and he obeyed until death (Philippians 2:8).

May God's Spirit bring repentance, strength to keep going, and real change to all as the campus journeys through Lent together.

We warmly invite all Visayanians to join us in prayer and reflection as we commemorate the saving passion and death of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. Together, let us accompany him on the Via Crucis, or the Stations of the Cross.

The Via Crucis will start at UV - Alliance of the Two Hearts Chapel, at exactly 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon.

We are inviting all Visayanians to join us in a Holy Mass today, February 18, 2026, at 12:15pm in the Alliance of the Two Hearts Chapel.

Just a reminder that Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent.

On this day, ashes are placed on foreheads with the words, "You are dust, and to dust you shall return," reminding us of our mortality.

Catholics ages 16-60 (in good health) are expected to fast, and those 14 and older should abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during Lent.

The 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙨 - 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 is a religious organization committed to bringing people closer to God and helping one another to build strong faith and be rooted in God’s love.

This month of love, we encourage each one of you to join us as we gather in spending time with the Lord in our 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘺 this 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. While your degree tells you what you will do. Serving tells you who you are.

College life is not always easy. We face many challenges, stress, and responsibilities. But always remember, you are not alone.

Campus Ministry is a place where we can grow in faith, find true friends, and feel God’s love. It is a community that supports one another through prayer, service, and fellowship.
