VBS & Outreach Training 2026
We were grateful to have attended the VBS and Outreach Training for Children’s Ministry Teachers held at Cebu Shalom Presbyterian Church last February 17, 2026.
It was a blessed and meaningful time of learning, equipping, and fellowship with fellow teachers who shared the same heart for serving children.
Our Learnings:
• Teaching children was not just a ministry — it was a calling and a responsibility.
• Creativity, patience, and genuine love made lessons more meaningful and impactful.
• Prayer and preparation were essential in every VBS and children’s class.
• Every child mattered, and every seed planted in their hearts counted.
• We also learned about children’s trauma — how some children carried emotional pain, fear, or difficult experiences, and how important it was for us as teachers to respond with sensitivity, gentleness, and understanding.
• Creating a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment helped children feel secure and valued.
We were truly thankful to all the speakers who generously shared their knowledge, testimonies, and practical guidance in handling children’s ministry, especially in understanding children who were going through trauma. Their wisdom inspired and equipped us.
Above all, we thanked the Lord for the opportunity to grow, to learn, and to be instruments of His love in the lives of children. To God be all the glory! 🙏
